While the MXGP riders are riding MX all winter, often in sand, SMX riders are riding SX. The SMX guys are not as good at MX as a result. Sacha is flat out better for sure.

I’m not even lying if you sent half of us to live at amateur facilities growing up we’d be just as fast as some of these kids. And my point is we are not good enough to be pro.
I remember racing a couple of those fast kids growing up before vs after they started going to like mtf.
The natural talent isnt rising to the top. That’s why Deegan is as good as he is. And he’s like the only one in recent memory.
Our Amateur program for sure doesnt suck its just we have different goals and SX is a big focus as well.
Just because you got another 2 brothers with elite talent doesnt make everyone else suck. Thats silly.

Hope they come over and do a full season, it only raises the bar and the other riders will adapt and get better. Pretty sure the doom and gloom was sounded when the Lawrence's started their dominant run years ago.
