Dude I thought about this recently. I had an old Gibson acoustic sent off to a luthier for a refret, neck reset and bracing. He said it’d be ready probably in Nov. I check in Dec, he says it’s ready just waiting on the holiday shipping rush to die down. Crickets. Follow ups. “Doing final touch ups, should ship next week!” Nothing. 

Finally I threatened to proceed with formal action in the state of Georgia for failure to return personal property entrusted for repair. I got the guitar back in March, and charged about $500 EXTRA because it was a Gibson and that was never specified. 

Case came back with busted latch, original tuners were kept, and he polished the patina off the top. I’m still annoyed when I think about it. Can’t recommend “Overhaul Guitar” Evan Collins for guitar work

Well, After saying once again he just wanted to get this resolved. I'm still without a helmet and ghosted.

LMAO. i know people like that. probably not a bad guy as far as acquaintances go (would make a shit friend), but just can't be told 'what to do' by anyone despite being an adult with a business and commitments. PDA. pathological demand avoidance. 


i bought some car parts from a small distributor and the mother fucker was so avoidant he couldn't tell me the shit was backordered and hadn't shipped. strung me on for 3 weeks. i finally do a chargeback, he tries to accuse me of fraud, and tries to charge me a "restocking fee" for MF'ing backordered parts lmao.

       This guy has not a care in the world when it comes to worrying about the folks that he has done dirty. We are all coming at this as most people would if they had some morals, and a bit of self respect. He has absolutely none of those traits, and truly thinks the group on here discussing his business practices are just a bunch of punks. I hate to encourage you gentlemen to just walk away, but it will do you a great deal of good to lose his number and forget he exists. No amount of threatening and shaming is going to straighten him out. Karma already has it’s eyes on him.

hard disagree, did you see the picture of his truck? That is for sure someone that is desperate to fit in.
