Hunter Lawrence put on a clinic today. Minus his Honda flame out at the end of moto 1, the dude looked like he was absolutely on rails. I remember his last time through Spring Creek on a 250 he had that Tomac beast mode speed, and thats what he looked like today as well. Id be worried if I was Haiden, Jett, Prado cause its going to be tough to beat Hunter moving forward.

Outside of Vitalmx any player/racer who is the 3rd best at the top level of any sport it’s considered wonderful. Ot at least doing very well. Of course some hate but the reasons to hate on here are ridiculous. He’s one spot behind Jett in points… it is what it is. I have to remember this is vital…

Correct. He was only penalised for half the times he cut the track. He should have been penalised another 6 positions.

They don't use every rider....Only the single best-finishing rider for a specific manufacturer in both the 450cc and 250cc main events count.  Provides the teams some bragging rights and something to shoot for. Also, good barometer for what manufacturer is kicking ass.

Deegan gave no respect to riders in 250s that were 2nd or 3rd when he was leading, and now I think that’s actually part of why Deegan doesn’t get respect for a distant 3rd.  You don’t get to shit on riders finishing 3rd behind you…and then expect respect for being 3rd behind someone…especially when you talked so much shit coming in to the season.  If he were like most other riders in how he spoke about his competition…then people probably would be saying he is doing good.  You reap what you sow.

Deegan was smoked again by 20 seconds. Hunter is on another level. Hats off to Prado as he getting closer to winning one of these.Jett is frustrated and it shows on the track and off. Cool to see Ryder D as the only American to stand on the podium on Americas birthday

Did you notice all the foreign riders thanking the USA for the opportunity to race here and for the love?  Thanks for the show fellas.

But what happened to Jett, didn't he get smoked by 34 seconds?  Is this thread going to get flushed too now that any support for Deegan or jabs against the Deegan haters isn't allowed in the moto forum because someone is flushing them due to personal bias?  Let's see if he flushes this post too:

I got to laugh at Deegans attempts to be patriotic when he’s found a reason every year to avoid having to represent his country.

Definition of patriotism is being willing to prioritize and put the wellbeing of your country and its people over yourself. Something Deegan never seems to be willing to do.

starts waving the flag and tries to get a USA chant going but clearly doesn’t work.

If all you guys have a problem with Deegan being patriotic and think that's a problem, I suggest you wake up and look what's going on outside your bubble.  Deegan waving an American flag on the 4th of July is the least of our problems.

Prado looked really, really smooth in some parts of the track. I hope he gets his confidence back to make the season even more entertaining. Shame we don't have Kenny, Eli and Sexton.

Congrats to Hunter. He keeps getting better every week. 😉

So would this be considered yet another weekend of ‘improvement / getting better / closer’ for Deegan? Discounting his moto one crash which was just bad luck, from where I’m sitting he’s just as far back from the leaders as always.

When’s all that big pre-season talk finally going to come to fruition? He’ll have Coenen in the mix at Southwick so that’s very likely to be another position down.

He said he was going to own the place.  That's the problem.  Every weekend he has been dropped.  The one moto he was close in Lakewood he talked shit again and then got penalized for cutting the track 50 times.  Then he was back to learning, then more shit talk.  He's a piece of shit as a competitor, but I am glad he's here so I can root for him to get worked.

250 class good to see Shimado of old that 2nd moto. Davies is going to just keep getting better and better. Ryder D and Cochran both rode great on the Huskys. Man to me it looks like Kitchens is just to big on the 250.

Not sure of that quote exactly….but when you prominently display “RIP Jett” on your shirt going in to Pala…well…it’s pretty much the same thing…unless you just don’t want to admit it.  It didn’t say “RIP Jett eventually”.  He has had nothing for Hunter and Jett for 30+2….at least without a 1 to 2 second/lap cheat line.  Maybe he will “eventually “…but not so far.

…and before you say, “what about moto 2 on Jett?” then you better say 9 people were faster than deegan in moto 1.

So it's the Tee-shirt everyone is translating?  I asked elsewhere, does anyone know the story behind the tee-shirt?  It's probably something a little different than you think.

With that said, I don't support his decision to wear it, but I can understand why he did when all things considered.  He took a gamble, and lost.  But I dont' see him ever saying he was going to own the place, or beat him, unless I missed it.  I heard him say "Jett should be able to beat me" which is stirring the pot.

Man I ain't got no time for hatin'.  Deegan is just playing a game like pro wrestling.  He chose the "bad guy" persona.  Puffed up chest and a lot of smack talk.  It doesn't matter if I like it or not it's his deal.  He's a bad motorscooter on the bike and while I don't root against him...I'll probably never root for him...anyone but him.

probably the best post about d-bag that I've read here. his dangerboyz still probably don't understand the logic however.....been a tough outdoor season for them so far....

Deegs has pushed them to the point of making mistakes. They’ve topped out. Jett has so much pressure he can’t even beat Hunter anymore.
Being feral as they are they will turn on one another soon enough.

Jett has issues due to the fact he doesn't spend much time riding the bike. no matter what d-bag or any of the other talking heads have said. his ankle is no where near 100%. he has to ride differently due to the immobility of the joint and to keep from re-injuring it. we also don't know how much pain it actually is causing him. so your take that deegs is pushing them is laughable.

both Jett and Hunter have dropped kicked him to 3rd or beyond multiple times this season. it's not getting closer for the dangerboy no matter what you think
