Was thinking about driving up Thursday night and watching Friday and Saturday with my son. Was looking for Spectator pricing for admission and parking. The only thing I could find was roughly 50 per day admission and 80 per day for parking. Anyone have a link to some actual pricing. Also 80 bucks a day to park a car seems like some serious price gouging from MX sports. Thanks in advance.

And you can forget about  getting a room at the better hotels close by.  MX Sports has them all tied up as well.

Your best value is to find someone already going and see if they can add you as an extra vehicle pass.  But here is the info I found for fan attendance.

https://mxsports.com/fan-admission

DAY TRIP PARKING:

Fans wishing to attend one day at a time may pay a day rate. Fees are per vehicle – not per person.

Day Trippers must park in the designated 'Day Lot'. There is NO overnight camping in the Day Lot. Day Tripper vehicles are not permitted in the camping areas.

Day Parking: $80 per car
Day Parking: $40 per motorcycle

I haven’t seen anything posted for “per person” fees to attend. Just the parking fees.

It’s much better to find someone racing, pay them for an extra vehicle pass. Then you can bring in golf cart each day. I can promise it’s not free. It’s been a few years since we’ve been, some things may have changed.

It is miserable without a cart, pits are spread out for miles, you will want to check all that out.

We always paid a friend for an extra vehicle pass, used to be $100, it’s a sticker on windshield, I would pull a small trailer with golf cart in and out every day, never a problem for years.

If you are a “day tripper” you can’t bring in a cart, and have to park in BFE.

You can't bring a golf cart if you are not racing or camping. You can't go into the pits or creek area any longer. It is free to attend, but I heard it will be a $80 per car parking fee this year. I live 45 miles away and I'm not going.

I appreciate the response, but that specifically says 2025 at the top. It's all I could find also. When you try to use a link to purchase it says it's expired.

That's probably why I was hearing $95 for parking this year. Most of the info should be valid, but prices may have risen.

My friend who was racing would get an extra vehicle pass for him, then give to me. I had the same sticker he had on his truck, which got me in the pits / creek each day. I literally had the race / camping sticker, I just paid him the cost of the extra pass. I never had a problem for years.

When I raced there I live close enough I would do that with a friend that camped. I would just drive in with my van and park, race, watch some and drive home for the night. Now if you are racing and three people come in the same motorhome, they all have to pay a camping fee unless you are related.

Leave it to the Coombs to figure out how to squeeze every penny.

Spring A Ding / Motoplayground ain’t much better, but a lot closer to me, and easier.

There are now Zero camp spots for anyone not racing.

From 2002 - 2012 ish, my sticker was delivered to me while I waited outside the entrance. I never had to go in order with them. I’m guessing things have changed.

But isn;t it the same amount of racers basically each year???  Same gatefull?  Roughly same amount of classes?  Did they shrink the place for racers only??  They already have local nice hotels on lockdown, so is everybody that is not racing supposed to drive to Memphis each night and stay elsewhere?  W.T.F.???

The hotels at the exit get booked up on the day its open to book but there are some available if you look a little ways away.

With the current rule we sponsors that go to do our jobs as sponsors can not even get a camping spot. From the looks of it even those with paid vendor spots can not camp at the track.

This whole thing has gotten very weird.

When you are making a killing from all the competitors you can charge what you want for spectators. I'm sure they know the rider's relatives will fork out the admission fees.

That sucks, 20 years ago we stayed at the hurricane mills Days Inn. I would book rooms for the following year when we checked out. We were next door to Blake Baggett one year, they weren’t too happy with us.

That is insane you cannot even camp........  Absolute bullshit.  Supporters of their own event still get a solid ass fucking.  Don't go, it isn't fair to you at all.  Start a trend......it could easily spread with rules like this.

Some of the problem with the camping deal is 30 years ago people showed up in a class "C" and a 16ft enclosed trailer.  Now days a good portion are 40ft 5th wheels(with a dually puller) and large class "A"s with trailers, with a few full-blown semi's thrown in.  Loretta's space has always been limited, now days racers are parking down by the old mill/dam.  That race has outgrown the facility and until ranch management decide to start clearing more area up on stage coach hill and towards the south then parking will be at a premium.

As for going to watch, you pay the day tripper fee for a car, there can be one or four people in the car the cost is the same (was $80 last year).  The parking for a day tripper can be a crap shoot, go early and you can usually get a pretty decent parking spot.  If you can then bring a bicycle as it makes getting around easier and I've never had a problem.  Someone said you couldn't get in the pits or creek, I think they meant you can't park there as there isn't any way the staff can keep a person from going through the pits or creek on foot or a bike.  I have always taken my grandkids down to the creek to cool off in between watching the racing.

Bel-Ray should make a special grease for anyone paying for anything Loretta's...but MX Sports would want to license it and get a cut of that too.😂

Great point about the rigs. We were the class C and 16’ trailer last year so I guess we were old school and didn’t realize. It was a fun experience but we were one and done. The atmosphere is neat to experience and we never thought we’d ever be there but in no way does it justify the cost to do it. Oh yeah if you go, have your head on a swivel and good luck dodging side x sides and golf carts loaded with 8 kids hanging off them racing around. Hey we banned pit bikes though 👍🏻

1. CAMPGROUND RESTRICTION. Only persons with Hookup, Facility or Fan Camping permits are authorized to enter the campgrounds and use the amenities, including the creek, swimming pool and bath houses.  Fans who did not purchase a camping permit are unauthorized to use these amenities.  Fans who purchase a day pass/ticket are prohibited from accessing the creek and are restricted to Sponsor Village and the racetrack fence line along the county road.

I'm not sure because I didn't go last year. They must have it fenced or something. I'm sure someone on here went and could tell you.

It’s not a creek anymore, it’s an amenity!  You can’t monetize a creek but you can charge whatever you want for an amenity…😂👊🤦
