i'm happy we have an oldschool hardpack/concrete track on the calendar. Don't think the venue/location and water prep is up to par for a GP, but imo we should have at least 2 of these types of tracks on the calender.

The racing was actually pretty good.  😆 The track sketchy though.

It’s great to see the versatility required to race on these different surfaces, certainly tests setup too, but not sure about the placement of some of those fence posts though.

That track is freaking insane.

Perhaps it's a move to give Paul Malin a bit of a permanent co-announcer, or, Paul may be thinking of 'retiring'?

The 'Old Blighter's' been doing this for a long time.

And, he's been carrying quite a work load, all through that time.

I rate him as the Best of all Race Commentators, by the way. Whatever series.

Ben's been on a few times recently, and I've missed any announcements as to what is happening.

i have a bad feeling about this shitty track taking one of the top contenders out for the rest of the season ..it was frustrating to watch the amount of those little stupid jumps adding absolutely nothing with right  after the jumps 1 line turns ..in the slower 2 stroke era this was maybe a good track but with the speed now: big no no . looks good from above but i think a lot of the riders really hate it .

I hope Owens hasn't destroyed his shoulder.

And, I wonder when / if Beta will put Fueri on the new 250 Four Stroke?

I rather like seeing him, and a (very) few others, out there on Two Strokes. EMX250 :  it's how it Bloody Well Should Be - Equivalency - in All series!

I don't know any inside information, but I don't think Paul has any aspirations of retiring, or Infront of moving him on.  As you say, Paul is the best commentator this sport has ever had. It's hard work on your own (Maler still carries that off like a champ!), but I think the commentary product is always better when there are two announcers.

Ben is a good guy, very knowledgeable, very enthusiastic, has been working within MXGP for a few years now in media (so, like Paul, he knows everyone and everything that's happening) and is from a storied, world motocross champion bloodline.

I wonder if after racing Lakewood and now this track the twins are extra motivated to make the move in 27?

Footpeg vs Wheel = trashed wheel.

Into pits for another wheel, tried his damnedest to get back into the points.

Missed out, with a 21st.

They got a little crazy with the hose yesterday, dust is better than ice. Let's hope they do better today

I remember at the Nations Ben saying his grandfather rode the MXdN’s. Who is it?

Must be carrying an injury because he had no fight in him.

Cripes, I've just been assaulted!

Watching the MX2 Podium ceremonies, I made an innocent comment about how the Montevarchi Mayoress was quite a fine looking Woman, and 'She Who Must Be Obeyed", gave me a thwack to the head!

Hell, I have to put up with her saying ( much more) salacious things about some of the riders she lays her eyes on.

Bloody Double Standards!

450s up now - I hope I don't black out from the beating I just received .......
