Just came to see how you deegan haters were spinning him straight up passing and putting 10+sec on a 2 time mxgp champion. Can we now say deegan is solid #3 guy or you guys got more bs about how he’s actually not crushing his rookie season?

Also single digits behind the aliens up front. He’ll be there…. Maybe by end of season, maybe next. But the boys will have to deal with him eventually.

Great take. Very informed.

I've always found Phil to be a pretty reasonable fellow. Are you saying he started drinking a little early today? 😄

Well, Hunter was impressive today. I would say Dominant over Jett. Those two are clearly very close, depending upon the track. Going to be fun watching those two dice it out.

Jett put in a great ride, and from his comments, he seems healthy, though he might have faded a bit in Moto 2.

I didn't think Deegan would become a top 3 rider this fast. Was surprised to see Deegan had the 2nd fastest lap in Moto 2. He seems to be progressing rapidly. He finished 3 seconds behind Jett. That's a little different from 20+ seconds...

Prado had a nice race in Moto 1... Nice to see Plessinger with a 5th overall. I had the chance to meet him at Fox Raceway. He bumped into us while we were going through the Pits, and we chatted a little while, and my son took a photo with him. Seems like such a good person. Of course, my son had to get the KTM cowboy hat in the merch area after that. My son loves Aaron and Jett.

Marchbanks with that 6th overall is nice to see. Marchbanks is a bit of a surprise. I didn't think of him as a top 6 guy at the start of the season. Obviously a few top riders out... Seems like he is comfortable on the Kawi 450 he's on... Obviously, he had a good race result last week, finishing 4th.

I’m sorry but I miss our sport when it wasn’t so “WWE”

And contrived.

I'm sure he's angling for a spot on the MXdN team.

yep brian can organise the "trash talk the other teams" agenda...............which will ultimately just motivate the other teams to kick USA butt!

I thought that too, Jett did say he was struggling with traction. Seems the bros must have been running slightly different setups.

I’m not a big deegan fan. Mostly because he’s opted out of MXDN pretty much every year.  I do root for him on the track because of his riding style. But damn his name in here is like trump on a liberal forum.  Just leave it alone.  A lot of you get really worked up about it.   It seems to be cool to talk shit on him and the Lawrence’s are perfect angels

I hope they don't even invite him on the team because of all the times he declined. But if the do, make him ride the 250.

After all, two months ago everyone was calling him the best 250' rider in the world, right?

There it is. Proof is in the pudding. Haiden CAN and WILL go faster than Jett.

You can’t deny the proven facts of lap times.

But I’m sure with Haiden passes Jett everyone will say “I’m sure Jett wasn’t riding 100% because he has a tummy ache” or something along those lines.

If HD is going to pass him he has to do it NOW before the ankle stops being a problem (if it ever will 🤷‍♂️)

Sounds like trolling to me, but one fast lap doesn’t win the race.
Will he ever beat Jett? Probably.
Will he win a championship? Maybe.
Lucas Coenan looks to be ready to compete next year. And there’s always the risk of an injury.

Not a Deegan fan. Not a Deegan hater. His actions and chirping are irritating, and he has yet to beat either of the Lawrence’s. Much less even lead a lap in 450. And he had nothing for Lucas last week. In addition to getting spanked by Jett.

My opinion is that he has been raised by a marketing master in his father. Interesting that if a person comments on his behavior it’s DDS, when it’s actually what BD wants. If you want to irritate him, ignore him.

Jett 8 - 0 Haiden

Hunter 7 - 1 Haiden

For now, it is the Lawrence show. The questions are :

Will Haiden improve and close the gap ?

If yes, how much time does it takes him to beat them contantly ?

If he doesn't cut the gap, how many defeat can he take before eveybody consider him as the 3rd guy ?

If that happens, what solutions does he have left ? Dirty ? Psychologic games ?

And finally :

How long is it gonna be okay for everyone (Haiden included) to be third ?

I think the most beneficial thing Deegan has going for him is he seems to be riding in control, and not riding over his limit. But on the other hand, the Lawrences haven't had to really fight him too much and both boys know how to keep it upright reliably. Hunter is arguably the most improved in the whole field; last year he seemed he 'could' be faster than Jett, but this motocross season he is definitely faster at multiple races.

And Hunter is so smooth too. Both brothers are poetry in motion. Hunters riding looks a little more calculated, Jett’s looks like pure flow… except yesterday lol

I’m not a fan of Deegan’s current antics, but I really appreciate his speed . I was one of the many fans who were hoping he would take that speed to the MXoN for the past three years, and I still hope he’ll do so this year.
I appreciate all the nationalities racing the US series, and I’m a big fan of the Lawrence’s, but I’m also old school enough to want to see US racers on the top step of the podium. In the case of Deegan, I just hope that he matures into a more adult version of himself.

The Lawrence era will eventually end, and while there’s a solid chance that they’ll be replaced by the Coenen’s, I hope some Americans step up to the challenge.

Yeah, not too keen on Deegans mouth either, but I'm super impressed by his fighting spirit. I'm pretty sure Brian has told me that he won't inherit anything and most likely be homeless if he cannot generate good income since he rides like a poor boy fighting for the last meal Smile Love it! Go go Deegan....  but at the same time, I do think the Lawrences are faster right now and if Jett ever gets back to his old self, I'm not sure if Deegan will beat him.

With that said... Which Track will be the best for Deegan, which track will allow a more balls to the wall full throttle berg railing riding ? Southwick ?

I think the most beneficial thing Deegan has going for him is he seems to be riding in control, and not riding over his limit. But on the other hand, the Lawrences haven't had to really fight him too much and both boys know how to keep it upright reliably. Hunter is arguably the most improved in the whole field; last year he seemed he 'could' be faster than Jett, but this motocross season he is definitely faster at multiple races.

I will kindly disagree with you there I think HD is riding at 110% not fully in control
