I know there is a lot Deegan haters and I understand why. When he moved up from 250s he was the fastest by far and now 3rd in the standings in the 450 class and now  he is the fastest American out there. He has been humbled but he did show the brothers he can go as fast as them for about 15 mins. He didn't win right away in the 250 class but we all  saw what happened there. We are only 3 races.

He was the fastest American last weekend,  but it's too early to say overall. No Tomac, Sexton's issues etc.

His racing actions and comments from the racing last couple weekends prove he is not humbled. His antics haven't changed. The Coenens were both only 1 race deep and were way more impressive than Deegan. If there's anyone for Jett to worry about it's those twins when they come over here to race full time.

Yep, no one else is around to battle Jett and Hunter. Even if Sexton and Tomac were around, I’m not sure they’d be up to the task.

Can only race who lines up on the gate.

The least you could do is spell his name correctly.

Mav, it’s keeping in line with the rebellious nature of Haiden. 😁

This is a ridiculous thing to talk about in an American series.

What other riders has VitalMx been this obsessed with or would have been this obsessed with from the past (had vital existed then)?

Not many I can recall. Mike Alessi received much attention, especially after standing on Tedesco’s bike. Vince friese probably is the champ in regards to longest running but not by volume.

"He didn't win right away in the 250 class but we all saw what happened there." I wonder how many 3rds it will take until we don't have to read this anymore. He's not racing the lottery class anymore, he's racing the best guys now. The guys he's racing against also dominated the 250 class. He will get even better for sure, but so he will be other guys he's racing against.

Call me crazy but I think Haiden will win more in SX than in MX on the 450.

Also it's funny how everyone is a "hater" now while everyone compliments his riding.

I can't agree = He's had the best results in 450 of the US racers to date - but he is not the fastest -

You’re not wrong but you will get a massive amount of downvotes for saying anything positive about him. Deegan has intentionally polarized himself for clicks and attention. I really hope this isn’t the common strategy for future young talent.

Imagine 05 RC, 07 JS7, 2015 ET, and 2016 KROC lining up with HD38.

I know everyone really wants to believe but I dont think Tomac has it.

He reminds me of Valentino Rossi towards the end. You would still see flashes of the magic but the younger guys just kept getting better while he just kept getting older.

Even if he recovers 100% and is still motivated I cant see him worrying Jett, Hunter, Deegan and Chase (provided he works out the Kawi and himself.)

Id love to see it and watch him have one more big crack at it. But im struggling to see it.

Yeah I know he is the highest American so far in points, I don't think he is the fastest... yet

Ehhh … I mean you are a little bit right. He may be in front of all Americans in the 450 class but I would not say he is faster than Chase or Eli. Chase would smoke him if he was on anything but a Kawasaki. Eli will smoke him when he’s healthy. Deegan was riding way over his head and taking a cheated line to stay with Jett halfway through a moto. When he didn’t take his cheater line he finished 30 seconds behind a 80-90% Jett and a Euro in his first race in the States. If I remember right Chase/Eli can hang on Jett’s fender for a full moto and be under control while they are doing it.

Outside of the penalty moto this past weekend there has been exactly one American to finish ahead of him in any moto. Pala Moto 1 when J Coop got 3rd and Deegan got 5th. Deegan has only improved since then. If you don’t think he is the fastest American 450 rider you are letting your dislike for him blind reality.

Depending on the conditions, it is between him, Eli, Chase and Justin. Eli is getting close to the end.

Sexton, it will depends on how he comes back, but he can definitly be faster than Haiden.

Justin Cooper depends on the day, but he is not that far off.

It goes without saying that the aussies and the MXGP from Belgium are probably higher ranked than Haiden

After watching Kegums and Thunder Valley, I would really like to see Haiden and Kay going at it on the 450.

I know what you are saying and yes Lucas beat Deegs on a track he's never been on in  country he's never been to but he has way more time on a 450 than Deegs. On the other hand, Lucas had to be careful because his job is in MXGP not here. I just countered my own comment. The Coenen brothers are fast.

Why? MXDN  will be on us and we will have to decide ,who are the fastest American riders.
