As the official italian Suzuki dealer Enzo Valenti said in a interview after Kenny's title last month, the new 2027 Suzuki Rmz will be out mid June... so probably this week... but is unknown if it will be completely new or bng....
Personally, i think we'll need to wait until 2027 or 2028....
from the marketing pov, a new bike could have been explosive now after KR's sx title... huge wasted opportunity probably
New boss same as the old boss?
What needs changed?
I need a button and some KYB front and rear and I'm good. If they can add the button and keep the kicker.....even better.
Bad right knee wants a button.
My Opinion:
The Shop
Free shipping: VITALMX
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
BNG.
Leave the Suzuki as is for the next 5 years and just don't raise the price.
Che cosa sai di nuovo, hai sentito qualcuno per caso? O hai visto solo le interviste ?
How tall are you? I thought the seat was a smidge low and I'm < 6'.
I'd actually pay a little more for a kickstarter. E-start adds nothing but weight and opportunities for failure (dead battery, loose terminals, broken button/wires, starter clutch wear).
Honestly, I'd be extremely surprised (and I hope I will be,) if Suzuki released a "new" bike for '27. I wonder if the Italian importer's "new" statement means "2027" instead of "redesigned." He could be referring to new as in, "Last year's model year is old, the same model with a 2027 model stamp is new." In other words, BNG. (Or, as is often the case with Suzuki, BOG - Bold OLD Graphics.) 😁
I would bet that Suzuki would be leaking images or marketing blurbs if they had a new model coming out. I could be wrong though, and I hope so!
same-same or almost same?
The question is, if they bring out a new bike, is it a 2027 model, or a 2020 model that’s being released nine years late?
😉
Updated plastic. Fenders look too straight. Rad cover needs to be all yellow. Beyond that it could loose 20lbs. Other than that, nothing.
All they need to do is add kyb 250 forks clamps and shock to the 450, throw the works head on there with some regular mortal cams pc pipe tuned to it, ecu tune it and let it roll. They'll sell everyone of them.
Same with the 250, works head, pc pipe and ecu tuned for it, better suspension settings and its gold.
If the Kawi 2 stroke thread has taught me anything, a 100 page thread is necessary to conjure a new bike.
I can see there being a Roczen edition released sometime soon. As for a 'new' model, I don't know. The bike just won the SX title...
Why does it need changing? Perfect as it is. None of you guys can use the current bike to it's potential anyway. Ride, enjoy. Cut the crap.
That bike is a product, and if the product doesn’t sell like the other there’s a problem with it.
Pit Row
They already have it. BNG and a PC pipe.
Who says it's not selling? I saw more Suzukis than Hondas last week at the track.
I don’t know where you live, but Rmz s sales here in Italy are very low.
Use it? I won't even start it. Kick starting a bike is as logical as hand cranking a car. Even Dylan adopted electricity.
A button and yellow rims, thenI think most folk would have an itchy finger
Lol I think the Suzuki is a fine bike, but this is such an annoying response (no offense.) This is 1 of the worst things that people parrot, when it comes to showroom bikes. The "you can't use it to it's potential" holds true for pretty much any size bike, with like 95% of people that ride or race. So if that's the criteria, then no bikes should change or evolve ever. You don't need to be the top 1% of rider to want something, as a consumer, out of a product. That being said, I do see the point that most of the changes we see on these bikes, really has little affect on us. The bikes have been so good, for quite a long time, that the small updates isn't going to make a ton of difference at most people's skill level. But I think in the case of Suzuki die-hards, I can understand wanting some small updates. And I think they could achieve that and still keep the good points of the bike in place.
What needs changing? That's the thing. It's a winning platform, at a budget price. But it, make it fully 'yours', for the price of any of the others, standard. The smart choice. I don't own one (2 stroke guy), but, from the 450's, it's right on the money.
Needs gold hoops.
Do you want to WIN? Pick up the #1 supercross bike on the planet, the RMZ 450. 🤑
Get it, but hell, doesn't it fit in the market, as a Japanese 450, that's more affordable than all the others? Mega capable... if the budget allows. I'd rather buy a new 4 stroke than a ticking time bomb 'unknown' history machine. I hope they make no changes. While the others continue to grow in price, for people on a budget, this is fantastic to have the option. The RMz can be out the door at $7K. Ducati Desmo 450, up to $13K
So, I’ve sent an e-mail to valenti, and they told me that the only thing that’s about to change are the suspension, they are switching to kyb for the 450.
I hope that’s not real
I suppose we could heat our homes with coal and wipe our asses with leaves too, good grief.
