-Got to give it up to jett and hunter. They didnt get angry or drop down to his level and roll in the mud. Instead they just kicked his ass on the track so bad he shut off his comments. They also 100% would have been in the right to rub it in after and kick him while hes down (like deegan would have), but they didnt. They just stayed true to themselves. True class of the field.

That was so funny when Jett did that. I didn’t get it at first because I don’t pay attention, but later on I did.
I don't know any of them personally, but I've always had the impression that everyone around him, up to and including his douchebag dad, simply fills him up with inflated compliments and praise.
In interviews, he would say things like, "I got that dog in me," or, "I have really good race craft." It just sounded like he was just repeating the praise that he was being pumped full of.

I’m not sure what it is you’re not seeing. He runs his mouth to the point that his fans start antagonizing the competition but when fans of his competitors do it he turns off the comments so he doesn’t have to see them. He obviously doesn’t like people calling him out on his bullshit.
