HD is clearly of a particular mindset that needs to believe he is the best. And if he sees/hears fans saying nasty things, it’s obvious this does affect him, because he mentions it: “the haters can suck it”. This isn’t a display of strength, this is a display of hurt.
Another sportsman may have fewer fans than him, but almost certainly has fewer detractors. He will notice this. And this hurts. He would feel better in himself if he had fewer ‘haters’.
Ok, I can’t ride a dirtbike like HD can, but also when I get on the internet I don’t have anybody, not one single person hating on me.

Maybe you would enjoy life more if you stop focusing on people you hate…I don’t watch his videos or follow him on social media so it doesn’t bother me…I just watch him and the others race…I’m only asking if you hate him so much why put yourself through all the stress he seems to cause you…If I don’t like somebody the last thing I’m going to do is follow them on social media and then continuously comment on what I don’t like about them and change my user name and put their name in it…seems a bit immature to me…
He needs to drop his dad from his inner circle / camp now. The ‘Dangerboy’ Mulisha focused marketing angle that he forced his son into from a very young age was a fun play at the time, but he’s now grown up firmly inside the attention economy, which can be damaging long term. The pot stirring nature of always chasing clicks and views at any cost takes its toll on the people that are in that world.

He’s an adult, professional athlete now (and a good one at that) There are much better people that can take the reins from his dad now. He still just comes across as a parrot of his dad on the podium and on his socials. I think he’d progress as a rider and a person if his dad wasn’t inner circle now. But I can’t see that ever happening unless he has enough of it himself.
Even if he does end up doing very well in the 450s long term and is a multi-time champion, how could you not look back and think ‘man I was a dickhead back then’ when more mature. And it all stems back to his dad.
I dont watch his videos, I have no social media. I dont like him because of how his mouth runs. I like guys that are humble and gracious. I meet Brian in 1997 the week before he won LA and thought he was a punk. I dont like the whole freestyle crap (everyone in the 90's that knew you raced thought you did freestyle) I find it funny that the same industry that Brian flipped off is sucking up to him today. I dont like how Brian would cheat so haiden would win as an amateur. I like haidens riding style but I cant stand his mouth. But at the end of the day I dont give a shit.
