Yeah at the very least barring disaster they should definitely be in the A final. Webster just went 16-12 at Pala and was running top ten for a while, and Cannon is currently second in EMX250 standings.
And currently Beaton is in better form than Webster.

So Dazzy said at the end of last year that they were taking the offseason off ie MXON, Aus Sx and Paris Sx to set up the 27.
The boys haven't had a break for ages, Hunter mentioned he barely got 2 weeks last year.
As an Aussie Im fine with it the boys have over delivered for us.
Before the boys turned up our MXON results were shit with only a few yrs Reedy and Byrner did well.
American Honda pays the boys huge money to race AMA SX and MX not all the other races.
Team Australia was never a real factor in MXdN until last 2 years (and 2011), this race is still going to be the highlight of the year, with or without them.
I get what you’re saying, but in the last 15 years they’ve been on the podium five times, top five seven times, top ten ten times. I think that makes them a factor a bit more than just the last two years.

i think one poster already said it but this shouldn’t be a shock to everyone since dazzy said this a while ago , get the ‘27 bike dialed , them & the team needs a break but I kno most moto fans don’t wana hear it but this why mxon needs to go stick n ball sports route with events like this , world baseball classic, fiba basketball & now tht flag football joint the nfl is participating in all like every 3 or 4 yrs , moto need to follow suit , more times than ever at least 30% to 40% of counties is not goona have their absolute A team every mxon due to grueling regular season schedules & injuries , at least mxon needs to be every 2 or 3 yrs , not every yr
More like AMA and MXGP promoters need to show a little respect, and slightly reduce their greed, by aligning their schedules with respect to MXdN.
Only a couple of years ago the dates had to be changed to make way for super duper motocross, that’s bullshit.

SX series should have off weekends every 4 weeks ish.
If they want the superdooper cross bullshit at the end they need to trim the SX series to 15 rounds. Outdoors 10 rounds.
They need a sports scientist to study the season work load and design breaks to suit.

Anyways, good on them and the whole HRC team for taking a longer break, they need it, and it gives opportunity to some great Aussie talent to gain experience whilst showcasing themselves on a World stage.
The MXoN dates changed quite a few years before SMX became a thing. In 2011 the US nationals ended on September 10th with the MXoN the very next weekend. In 2012 the US nationals ended on September 8th but the MXoN took place September 30th. Then a few years later they pushed it back even further to the first weekend of October.
I’m not sure why the US series gets blamed for the MXoN getting pushed back when in reality it’s the GP series going longer and longer over the years that has done it. SMX just filled a gap that was already there.
I was blaming the US series because MXdN dates were already set in 2023, but had to be changed after the first SMX schedule came out late.
