Deegan will get better aswell, but the biggest challenge Deegan will have even if he gets up to speed is having to compete against three holeshot kings. Hunter, Prado and Jett (Jett today with his worst starts ever I think) will be upfront while Deegan likely has to play catchup every single race.

You cant consistently get 15Th + starts in the 450 class. Having said that, once these guys filled in, he kept pace. 

Certainly a good showing. Starts suck though.

He and Jett had the same starts in both motos. You say this like he's been getting 15th-place starts 20 motos in.

I've beat that drum forever. Starts are going to be an issue for Deegz on a 450. He was on the fastest 250 on the gate before. All the 450's are fast

Jett was about 4-6 positions better each moto. Moto 1 Deegan was 20th after 1st turn and Jett was 14th. 2nd moto Jett was 10th and Deegan 15th

 

But that wasnt my point at all and I didnt even mention Jett. The point is he HAS the pace of those guys. Clearly.
