Will you mute for a month, or forever, if it is released?

All jokes aside, I hope that kawi has a serious competitor to the ktm 2 strokes.  The betas are nice, been on a few.  The yzs are sweet, had 2 of them in the past 5 years.  With that said the tbi 250xc I own and other tbi models i have spent time on are the absolute tits and nothing would be better than another big manufacturer producing a serious competitor to the ktm line of 2 strokes.  The 4strokes are excellent bikes as well across the board but 2stroke performance especially in the woods for us mortals cannot be touched.

This is a great thing for us riders.  Imagine 250 and 300 2strokes just keep getting better.  I already cant see my self going back 4 stroke.

Keeping this thread ‘off track’ for another week… I’ve been thinking of getting a new TBi 300. Raced Rd 2 of Aust Hard Enduro champs this weekend. 2 x TBi mounted bikes died randomly on the line in front of me, main race 7:30am Sunday AM. Quite tense! Those guys were not happy - no kickstart meant push starting like a madman, eventually pulling out at the flag drop… my carb + optional kickstart Beta 300 sure felt good in that moment!
That new CRF looks sick. Nearly go time for the green bikes…

Unfortunate.

Good thing a carb bike has never not started on a gate before in the history of starts.

16 months and 87 pages and you get an all new KX85 and KX112? That's pathetic

Can all these idiots claiming conspiracy be banned for a year once this bike is unveiled next week?

Steve and Muto are obviosly being sarcastic,
"Oh yeah, it's really coming"  (Laughs)

RV has a habit of blowing smoke to give Steve a hard time, he also says Beta is Spanish. 🤣

no release date confirmed.

The real conspiracy theorists are the ones who believe they know the model and release date, even though it hasn't been announced by Kawasaki.

ML just said literally on the page before that we’re about a week away from news, are you okay?!

It's all make believe until there's a model announced and a release date from the manufacturer.

Did ML post that info?  I haven't seen it.

It’s an all new, e start fuel injected KX500 and in a few years we will have a 500cc class back at the GPs. That would be awesome

The KX500 was discontinued due to poor sales, if it was resurrected, it would show the manufacturer doesn't understand the market.

We are much heavier now so the big bore power would be more useful than ever to the common consumer.

The poor sales tracked with declining testosterone levels in the population.. when 500 sales were strong, the term they/them didn’t exist.

Then we invented the 450 thumper and effectively brought back the 500 with much better manners. But it still isn’t the ride that a 500 smoker is.

Yeah bro only a real MAN rides a 500. You people are embarrassing. I hope the news of it being unveiled next week is true, getting tired of seeing the folks let out of the dumbgeon commenting in this thread. Also, hate to burst your fragile male ego but gender non conforming people have exist since the beginning of time.

Earth is around 4.5 BILLION Years old, so how could gender non conforming people have existed since the beginning of time if humans didnt exist until around 2 million years ago? Please stop with your science denying fake news.

Since we're now on page 87, here is the brand new 1987 Kawasaki KX lineup. This year all of the big bikes get the lower-mounted rising rate Uni-Trac suspension, however the forks are still standard (non-cartridge) 43mm.  The forks hurt the KX's against other bikes who switched to cartridge style internals in 1987.

The KX250 and 500 had all new bodywork, including a razor thin gas tank and seat. Some loved it, a few hated it. The folks who weren't fans complained that the narrower tanks and seats allowed their legs to come more in contact with the expansion chamber resulting in hot legs.  The Japanese market did not receive the KX500 hence why it's not in their domestic brochure.

Obviously some folks will know already, but, I wonder if any of the parts from the last gen 250cc 2t from Kawi (05/06) will be carried into the new layout. When they released the KLX300 again, it used the same engine architecture from 1993 but with EFI… although the frame was unchanged too. This engine will need new cases to suit E Start, and fit the KX300X ally frame. What’s the bet on oil tank / vs required premix?

You’re wrong. They (Swiss and GeoScietific community) listed the new universe age at 402 billion years (13.8 billion years was the previous calculation) and have even speculated with new data mapping that it could be close to 1.6 quadrillion years ago (defining the possibility of a new Kawi 2-stroke at 2.6 quadrillion to 1 chance that it “possibly” could happen).
