Hey all,
I've had a few users brought to my attention who literally only post in non-moto and actually only post in political threads. This is a moto-site we allow to have a non-moto section, but if a user is only here to stir up politics, their account will still be suspended. Can still view the site, read Moto News, etc. But if your only reason for having an account is to post about politics, then you can take a hike over to Facebook or somewhere else for that shit show.
Freddy99 and white feather (pretty sure you're cool hand luke anyhow), you're the first casualty. If you enjoy the site for moto, then you can still view it, but your account has been suspended for one month, and your avatar has been removed (going to add a new no-politics avatar rule in the guidelines section).

Moto / doesn't care much for my opinion lol
Not gonna get much pushback on this one ML but I was clicked once for only posting in Non Moto and only posting about politics. It was absolute BS. I did post in some political threads but it was on the other side of the aisle from GuyB. Pretty sure that's why I was clicked. Politics were maybe 20% of my posts.
Anyway keep it fair and I doubt you will see much pushback from this policy.
But im giving it to 'em...
Deegan is a Punk
( they asked ) lol
Can you get rid of the trolls permanently next?

And not even a single downvote to be seen. Thanks ML!
Oh no! Who will make us our coffee ?
In all seriousness, I support this 100%
The Wolf Man? 🤔
Thanks ML 😎 How about the guys who bring politics into non political threads ? You know since you're cleaning up a bit 😂😂
Or the foreign based posters who endlessly spout the same "widely reported, and copypasta" bilge thread after thread.
I’ll just add this…. White feather is CHL. CHL is also, OW.

I realized some time ago that CHL was akillerwombat, or at least they were clipped the same day 8/22/25
Wait, " I've had a few users brought to my attention..."?
While there are plenty of posters who only seem to be able to post name-calling drivel, my guess is that the people calling your attention to this are probably just as bad but don't like the competition!
I just wish that there was some magical way that every new member had their previous user names listed on their information page automatically. I know it isn't really possible with different email addresses, VPNs, etc.
I’m pretty sure there are roving admins that are part of an occasional discussion that Michael has…every now and then.
And, I can say this as someone with plllllenty of experience with “the time-out result” of those discussions. 🤣
I’ll openly say, I “reported” White Feather. Reported, this clown’s back with a third account.
I didn’t go to ML’s PM’s. But, I’ve openly dragged OW in threads as well. To me, the guy is a stain on this forum. Based on the 👍🏼 ML’s post received, I would say many agree.
If I’m in the wrong, clip me as well….
I enjoy this place. I’m also thankful for some of the friends I’ve made along the way.
There's definitely 'those' people who can't stay away after being clicked, have the sock puppet accounts, etc. No disagreement about those accounts.
There's a couple of posters who probably have at least 50% of their posts simply bashing other members. Those are the most annoying ones to me. They're not enough for me to request a mod to click them, but close!
The only time I remember ever reporting 'inappropriate content' was several years ago when someone went full Nazi. Not 'sort of sounds little bit like...' but full on new-Nazi posts. I can't remember who it was, but it seemed like they had been on the board for a little while, not a new account that just started out with that.
Yeah well, I responded to your initial post/comments Expressed my “reasons” for doing so in my first post. Which, I’m sure you won’t get out of anyone else…
Moving on…
"I just wish that there was some magical way that every new member had their previous user names listed on their information page automatically."
Technically shouldn't even be an issue, at all.
There's a handful of names, but two in particular that would immediately improve the forum experience.
Pit Row
Does it pertain to a meathead? 🤣
Id keep it open in the "nonmoto". Sub fourm. If not it will bleed over to the main fourms.
That's fine . The problem is it's not really enforced . By this rule white feather and probably Freddy 99 would be banned for good . But they'll just come back under yet another name anyway. I'm sure ML is too busy to keep track of these burner accounts .
I’ll say right now , I have never went to ML and complained about another user here. I did however months ago complain about a thread that went way way way off the rails. That thread is still here in the dumgeon. Anyway , overall I enjoy being a member here. 😎
Maybe his should be a sticky? For the top of the board?
Freddy99 was banned for running a Trump avatar and fully committing to doing nothing but posting political bullshit.
Yeah, but it sounds like it doesn't take too much to completely change the digital footprint to not be able to connect the 'new' username to the older accounts. Even for Mutt, who I think just changes usernames half the time on his own, just imagine the number of different email accounts he has needed to set up over the years for no other reason than to be able to post on Vital!!!!
Hell, he might be responsible for some company to have a complete data farm just to house his stuff!
Fair enough ML but derangement and vitriol are not limited to Non-Moto. They are just as apparent in any Moto thread about Cooper Webb or any other thread where his name is mentioned.
Just sayin’…
ML
Have you thought about the concept of Heaven Banning?

Whatever happened to GuyB?
What pissed me off was GuyB would do impulsive bans. Knee jerk stuff because he was in a bad mood and wanted to take it out on someone. I think he enjoyed playing God.
He also didn't have a sense of humor, openly stating once that he did not understand sarcasm. I remember him once clicking a poster who made a humorous but sarcastic post. When asked what he found objectionable about the post he , in great detail said, "It was stupid".
If you regurgitated the same nonsense that GuyB subscribed to you were never in any real trouble of getting banned for any amount of time. Some days his cycling shorts were just a little too tight it seemed.
