I doubt Prado will tell you that he was happy about that, let's be honest. So why should we act different? His only desire is winning and anything else is a disappointment. This isn't SX where he is satisfied with a top 5 or even a podium. Though anyone who thinks last year is any indication of what he can or will do this year is delusional.
So now we’re giving him credit for beating riders that were injured and missed races….ok…

And then you list a bunch of riders he beat that suffered injuries….you could have just left it at the 6th but for some reason felt compelled to list riders he beat that all were injured and didn’t complete the full season like it was a great accomplishment…come on man…

I might get hate from this, but considering Jett’s injury, Lucas might be the fastest motocross rider in the world right now
Why is it automatic that he's faster than deegan or prado if he's truly comfortable, or a comfortable sexton for that matter. He's not just destroying everyone right now.
Just my opinion, we’ll see how it is a couple races into pro motocross. Even in Europe I wouldn’t call Prado the fastest, just the best starter (still very fast). Deegan is obviously a big unknown.
I think others, notably Herlings, share my sentiment about Lucas, but again we will see once he lines up if he goes 100%
Well I mean Lucas almost beat Febvre for the world title in MXGP class last year when he was 18 and is in control of the title this year so far and he is 19. Deegan has never raced a 450 so technically Lucas already has him. Plus Herlings also said he believes Lucas to be the fastest rider in the world currently even though he is a massive Jett fan, that says a lot, and that was when Jett was healthy.
He's up two points, no? That's a title fight, not being in control.

Herlings and Lucas has lost one moto each, same issue. So no difference.
But I do agree that Lucas probably is the current fastest rider. Herlings is an animal in the end of motos and to both gap and hunt him down on both sand and hard packed?
I think it will be 100% start cross this year. Tomac and Deegan will suffer most. Not even putting Chase in the discussion also.
Deegan's starts in SX this year were very good. He has improved a ton.
Ya he has kept the red plate for nearly the entire season, so in control seems accurate. I also said “so far” indicating anything can happen. But yes he has been in control so far.

I think if one of them is going to win its Sacha, if he keeps the rubber side down. Which he has great difficulty doing so its not a given. He's faster than any 250 rider in the Nationals IMO
