IMO Webb has the talent to be an every week win contender outdoors if he wants to be. It seems at this stage of his career, and for the last few seasons, he no longer wants to invest the work to make that happen outdoors any more, which is okay (but clearly not okay to some people here).

Surprised to see how many of you have forgotten how good Deegs is outdoors. He improved so much in SX this year that he now looks like a phenomenal SX rider, but he is vastly better outdoors. I kinda feel bad for you guys that are hoping he’s gonna struggle to make the top 5. Yikes.
Yes, Deegan excels outdoors for sure. But...it is a pretty tall task to win an overall. I would be surprised if Deegan wins...less than 4 overalls this year.
