Ask Justin Cooper from last weekend in Denver. Webb gets the “fighting for position” nod instead of Vince Friese tag.

Prado's first full season in AMA Supercross. Think! Zero prior experience - AMA rules made him jump right into the deep end and go straight into the 450 class because his is a two time MXGP champion. There is NOT another rider in the 450 class who didn't cut his teeth in the 250 regional series . . .  Prado is already faster than Webb in the whoops.  What did Cooper do his first full year in 450 SX?  Prado is already winning heat races and getting podiums.

Prado has been training at supercross since he was 14 years old under the watchful eye of Red Bull KTM. He raced 450 supercross in 2024, and 2025, and now in 2026. Wow 😂 2 days of SX on outdoor suspension on vacation as an amateur at age 14 means he's been practicing SX since then lol

By that logic Herlings has been practicing SX for 12 years because he did some laps when he was 15. Sounds like he can just line up at A1 and podium

Thanks for the laughs guys, but serious question; did the AMA really fine Prado for giving the bird to Webb over the finish?

Prado should check himself. He was irrelevant in the points finishing ninth, tried to hog the spotlight from Kenny. Nobody thinks he’s a bad ass. He sucked on the Kawasaki. And he’s still pretty much sucking. Go practice and stop trying to hog the spotlight.

You're going to have a miserable summer if you choose to watch the nationals.

Wow... Good thing Nicoletti is retired, with all the throat slit gestures, they probably would of tackled him and put him in cuffs.

I didn't even catch that he was ghost riding his bike until I've seen a video of it. He literally looks like he was waiting for someone to pick up his bike haha!

his worries are over - he won't get a sniff of him outdoors - not even a whiff

Just like last year, right?

No comparison. Last year was an anomaly. Prado at MXGP winning speed would annihilate Cooked Webb.

It’s quite interesting to see how desperate Webb is when it comes to Prado.

Webb’s strength has always been to pass on the inside and ride smarter than his opponents. Now when he has to face a rider that uses the same lines as him self and he lacks the speed to pass in any other way or place on the track he just boils over.

Honest question that I know you won't respond to - when did Webb "boil over"? If you're talking about the subject matter of this thread I see one guy very animated and seemingly "boiling over" but it wasn't Webb. It looks like Webb just rode off calmly then sarcastically mocked him for being a dork in the post-race interview. He seemed more upset with himself than with the faster Vince Friese.

Based on all of their interactions on and off track this winter. Or do you think that Webb was calm and collected in his passing attempts and after race interviews this season?.

His normal self with precision passes was put the window and desperation was clearly displayed. Happy now?

How many points penalty do you get for flipping off your team management group? Asking for a friend named Mike.

For GEN-X, "Your Mom" is  a real insult. Especially if it has an F in front of it. Serious consequences.

As in, “F yo momma”? Seems like an odd thing to interject within an argument.

Agree that nobody’s mom should be mentioned, though.

Prado has been training at supercross since he was 14 years old under the watchful eye of Red Bull KTM. He raced 450 supercross in 2024, and 2025, and now in 2026. This isn't just some guy that stepped off the boat and was handed his first set of SX suspension in January. His talent is undeniable but his emotions seem to be a limiting factor that I don't see changing. He kinda freaks out when there are other motorcycles around him.

By that logic Herlings has been practicing SX for 12 years because he did some laps when he was 15. Sounds like he can just line up at A1 and podium

It was more than 2 days. It was legit suspension, and the kid was fast. Was incredibly close to the other guys for being 14/15(had his birthday while here) years old and only a couple of months into SX and mind you Jessy Nelson won Anaheim that year. I wish he had stayed, I told the team to bust out the checkbook and do whatever they could to not let him go back to over seas.

maybe I had him mixed up with another rider in my head. But still, he did some SX as an Amateur 10 years ago. That doesn't mean "he's been training supercross since he was 14 years old"... I remember hearing him say how mind blown he was from how fast Nelson was going

When all his competitors have the same issue it says something. Take a look at 7:50 mark of the video that Mav posted wher he cuts over in the whoops…or maybe the drone footage of him cross jumping Sexton on the finish jump before he got passed…or in Denver his cut over in the whoops from left side to the right to cut off Webb before the sand….he’s so good at it that it looks subtle but it is dangerous…he did the same shit in MXGP and many of his competitors there say the same…it’s exactly what Friese does he’s just faster and smoother when he does it. We will see how it goes in outdoors but if he follows the same pattern with a good start, race at the front and then fade and block he will get more of the same treatment as he is now.

I’m not really choosing a side to any of this because to me, both did their job as far as entertaining me lol.

I think there was a lot to be said about what happened between them. More than just “they don’t like each other”

I think about the emotions and ego in play. Webb career is closing down and he didn’t perform to his expectations. Prado the new guy, wasn’t even good at SX last year and is now holding Webb caliber guys off for podiums.. one is super bummed and pissed. The other is super pumped and rising up. As competitors, I feel like there was that yeah fuck you last race vibe.

The Sexton cross jump was quite obvious. I was surprised it has not been mentioned up to this point...

He's going to have a few more guys on the line that aren't fans...

He's been doing it all year (and apprently career...) and it's honestly surprising how unaware many folks seem to be about it. It probably doesn't register with anyone who doesn't actually ride/race.

I'm fine with guys block passing/making contact with me in a corner all day. Cross jump me and I'm fuming. I don't know any rider who is ok with it.
