I think Cole Thompson is probably the fastest but since it involves being crafty as well I’ll have to go with Moranz. Especially if there are weird rules that require listening skills.

Two 6 minute mains + 1 lap.

Staggered start, like single file?  That kinda sucks. 7 minutes isn't much time to catch and pass up to podium, especially with the huge advantage at the front.

I’m positive pulp said he wouldn’t let Cole in even if he qualified. I’m glad he changed his mind though. 

Is Crocket Meyers back on his Suzuki or is he riding a Yamaha still?

Be cool to see Cade Clason win it since this weekend will be his last race.

Staggered restart for 2nd race but Steve told them last year (and said he will do it again this year) that once the flag waves it is a free for all.  They don't have to wait until a certain point to pass.  Moranz was the only one listening and passed a ton of dudes before the first corner.  Should be interesting this year since most of the guys know what to expect.  I foresee mass carnage in that first corner and I can't wait!

I hadn't heard that. Did he announce his retirement?

1st main about to start

Strategy for this race is really tough. It would be hard to decide what to do. Every part of me would just want to just do my best in both races and see how it shakes out. But I think some of these guys might be smart looking around to see where guys are. You definitely don’t want to piss anyone off in the first race and deal with paybacks immediately after. This style definitely favors the guy who is good at choosing good lines and making passes. Pretty fun format to watch.

I guess Cade showed that the best strategy is to go out and do your best in both races. Don’t hold back for 2nd race position. He went from 18th to 4th!
