Have you watched his riding? Haven’t you seen him showing at times, very clearly top 3 speed? Wouldn’t you think that’s insane considering he has what 1-3 years sx experience compared to the guys with 5-20 years sx experience he’s against.
There’s kids in sx futures who have spent more time on supercross than Prado and he’s qualified fastest more than once, won some heat races, led some laps, and at time shown elite speed.
What else do you have to see?
This thread is hilarious. Some of you really, really got offended by what happened at Budds Creek last year. Let it go, you guys look like idiots.
Yeah….No…Still waiting for him to show some class….
Very close tonight

Held off Cade Clason after a hard fought battle on the last lap though.
He's such a shitty mud rider, it's amazing. And he grew up in the rainiest part of Spain lol
I remember when he won his first heat race in similar conditions in 2024 though
He got lapped twice. What happened?
I believe he beat 6 riders tonight and was lapped 2 times.
George. Is it really surprising?
Listen haters and lovers.... all I wanted this sx season was for him to show me he's an elite rider. And he's done that. Still think he'll be a 3-5 guy outdoors because I just don't think he's a savage who can wick up the speed in tough conditions a la st jeff
Yeah that was such a crazy result, considering that Prado is probably the worst mud rider i have ever witnessed. The relative dropoff in ability and pace is just crazy and unmatched
He needs to hunt bad weather during the offseason and fix this 😄
The wife said Pradno has to be a two pump chump. Said he hits it hard and fast out of the gate but blows his load way before the race is finished.
Honestly, I expect to see a whole new Prado over the next 2 weeks. If he loves dry hard pack tracks, the next two rounds should be right up his alley. As we’ve seen the last couple weeks (and most of the year last year), unless he’s completely comfortable with the bike and the track, he just mails it in and waits for the perfect conditions to actually try.
Prados litrally said in multiple interviews throughout year he’s litrally just riding to learn sx and not going to push it.
I would imagine the last few rounds he will most likely show he can run top 3-5 speed then just mail it in in the mains to stay safe and be ready for outdoors.
Next year he will most likely be consistent top5 in sx and probably sneak out a win.
The excuse that some of you make for this guy is laughable….
The smart thing for him is to just make it to outdoors in my opinion. I’m sure a couple good results to end SX would be nice but wouldn’t really mean much. We all expect him to be a contender outdoors so it’d be a shame for him to throw that away in these last couple.
Except for the fact that the only reason he came to the US was to try to win in SX.
You’re right, supercross is the priority but motocross is a close second and with two races left I think that should be his main focus. Winning one of these last two seems like a stretch and I think it would be foolish to take unnecessary risks that might sabotage a run at the outdoor title, which he should be a contender for. That being said it’s not like he’s certain to crash out going for a SX win so maybe what I’m suggesting would be overly cautious.
Pit Row
Let's be real, prado has almost a 0% chance of ever winning a 450sx title. Every single title winner in modern times has never been as consistently bad as prado has been over the last 3 years racing 450 sx.
Outdoor maybe. This summer will tell us a lot.
With Jett healthy, there is a 99.9% chance no one else win a title. So that isn't Prado specific.
If you qualify with speed beating Tomac, Hunter, Jcoop. You start better than all 3 of them, and are the fastest in the whoops, and you are not a consistent crasher. Then you have odds way lower than most other riders. Very few have all those elements for them. He is missing top 3 SX race stamina and experience for sure.
Jett, Hunter, Roczen, Prado. Maybe Deegs. Not even Tomac or Webb has it all. They still managed to win titles. Sexton is lost cause at Kawi.
Putting it all together is not easy. We can see that. But to rule someone out based on above?
Prado needs more time up front in high pace scenarios for sure, and he isn't used to be hunted down (he leads from the front) so will need to change his mentality when that happens.
The hate and grudge some of you hold is hilarious.
No Hate no grudge….just responding to those that are using mud and still learning as excuses for his bad results…he has speed he just quits when he gets passed by a few riders…maybe go take a listen to KR’s post race press conference…the other racers have no respect for him because of how he rides…
If roczen said thet about prado .is centainly a sign that he has become a true american.........unfortunately
Why does he fade so bad?
Honestly not sure. Second half the season has looked worse. Same as Tomac. Big drop off. Who knows 🤷♂️
I think he fades for a few reasons. 1- I don’t think he’s in the kinda shape he needs to be in to run the pace here in the US. 2 - I think it wears him out mentally trying to hit his marks for a full SX main. 3 - I think discouragement sets in when he starts getting past, instead of fighting he gives up. I could be wrong on all of it though and it’s none of those things. But it is my opinion.
What is so hard to understand about this......l prado just doesn't want to take risk on such a muddy supercross circuit.....when the track was still fine during practice he was one of the fastest
Prado is a bad ass on a bike.
Learning SX and being this good already is impressive.
He will be better at SX next year and actually have a chance for a win and consistent finishes to be top 3 in pts with possible championship contention.
MX he will shine.
Now if you want to hate him about his personality and past that’s great but I personally care about the racing.
I believe if he dropped down to the futures class , he could indeed win a main .💯
You really thinking in the next 3-4 years Prado won’t be getting better at SX?
His lap times in Quali and Holeshots are already the best at times.
He will learn the race craft and get better each year.
I think some just can’t get over the Kawi didn’t fit his style and he gave the 2 week notice and came to work and didn’t actually work. This job sucks I’m out of here attitude many of us if not most have done.
Riding the wide lines is a douche move he should end.
I guess I just see him with a high ceiling after going back to KTM. Plus, his years in GPs showed his talent.
Top 5 all summer no problem.
