Has anyone else created moto related 3D printed parts? I’m always looking for ideas to swipe when I’m not making something of my own for fun. Usually, it’s small stuff like seal bullets, comp assy wrenches, chain tension gauges, tube clamps, tool fixtures/organizers ,etc.
Just finished making a new WP shock bleeder cup. First one worked great but the cup was too small.

I have a 3D printed cover over the fuel pump, underneath the fuel tank.
Would that fill cup work on the 16-22 KTM shocks? I would maybe be in for a chain slack tool too, I just use a piece of chopped off ruler and I always get funny looks busting it out.
I have looked on thingiverse awhile back but I don’t remember if there are any mx related worthwhile files. I am only in the first stage of gathering files to print so I have some justification to start another hobby.
The shock filling/bleeder cup is awesome! I’ll have to look for a file to fit KYB shock.
Thanks. For threading into the shock, I used the OEM filler bolt and drilled a hole through it. Between the bolt and plastic, I have $5 into it for materials. Cheap off-season entertainment.

I don't print myself but I do have a few printed tools that I think are pretty nifty. I use a chain slack gauge all the time, just set it under the chain and tighten it up. I also have swingarm, linkage, and head stem greasing tools from DCMX. I haven't used them yet, but if they work it will make greasing those parts less of a chore than it already wasn't.
The DCMX linkage greasers are awesome, just used them two weeks ago. Highly recommend using a grease gun without the hose though as I found out why it's not a good idea. haha
I run a CNC shop and I haven't really gone toward 3D printing yet, but I recently measured the KYB shock adjuster thread for someone else...
The interface between the adjuster body and the shock body / reservoir is M28-1.0mm
Outboard of the threads the body has a smooth bore for the o-ring with an inside diameter approximately 29.0mm.
Some KYB shocks (Kawasaki, primarily) have a bleed screw. It's M6-1.0 on the shocks I've serviced. Most KYB bodies have a boss in the casting for that bleed screw, but lots of motorcycle companies (Yamaha, etc) don't spec that bleed screw.
Is the file for the bleed cup on thingiverse?
I'm gonna give this a test and see how it does. 8 walls, 20% gyroid infill, PA6-CF material.
Anyone have the files for the Kawi/Honda Map/start switch wash covers?
Need a case saver out of that stuff if anyone has a file for a 250sx 2stroke
That bleed cup isn’t out there. I designed my own version.

Made this corner tire stop for my Tacoma yesterday. Stops the tire from hitting the rolled up Tonneau cover.
I’ve made a few simple things. Nothing super exciting or extravagant but useful nonetheless.

That's what i need. 👍
I didn’t make these, but they’re super functional. A different pump manifold to make the Bosch electric water pump fit inside the chassis better, and with a support bracket to hold it in place. I have two versions, one with a block or wedge to hold it in place against the frame, and one with bolt holes to mount to a welded on bracket on the radiator.

The second piece I have is super simple, a 20mm extension for the filter cage to increase air filter volume.
Are these the correct size for the KTM bearings? Looks like they are do you have the files posted anywhere?
Need to service mine this week be nice to print these out for that.
They are indeed. I don’t have them posted, but I can email you a file?
I would gladly buy the file off you as well so I can print one!

Send me a DM sir!
I know the ‘93-‘95 RMs aren’t as popular as they should be, but nearly everyone I see is missing this silly little cover. I had to pay $130 for an airbox just so I could steal this UV damaged part. New production replicas would be awesome, but they’d have to be fairly heat resistant.
That screw in oil funnel with the vent is great! Found the model for it and made one myself.

Made this pegboard mount for my Slacker tool today.
