I'm thinking if Prado does really well outdoors and KTM offers him a bigger money contract, Husky becomes a three man team with AP on a lower salary, bonus-based contract. If Prado does mediocre (not likely), I could see KTM keeping him for at least another year because he's great with the fans, and can put results in when he's healthy.

Maybe ClubMx goes after him, they talked to Barcia and Anderson this last offseason I believe. Fly was also interested in the cowboy. Maybe that will be an option for him.

I'd agree...... but do we know if the Coenen's are waiting till 28'?

Husky would be a great landing spot too.

Coenens are coming. Only chance AP has at staying is if tomac retires. Won't be room for him on ktm or husky if tomac comes back and coenens take 2 spots.

If Marchbanks doesn’t pan out with Kawi, AP7 could land there too

I think it's fair to question AP's integrity, love of the sport, character, mental stability, and also his dad, given the lack of specifics in the announcement that he isn't racing this weekend. He did the same thing last year. I've lost all respect.

AP is tough, he is likable and he has a great public personality. Feel free to question him if you want, but I’ve got no questions, he’s a good one.

I used to have high hopes for him, was a fan, but him and barcia both.... just can't support them anymore with missing all this time without providing enough details to satisfy me.

For those who have scrolled past the sexton threads, I'm just trolling his haters. AP and barcia are both fine by me.

Somebody suggested elsewhere that Beta would be a good fit. I hadn’t thought about it until then but that would actually be perfect for AP. His fans will love him regardless of the bike he is riding or where he is finishing. If he makes a top ten for Beta they win too.

Beta just needs to figure out a way to get a rider of that caliber in their budget and it would be great marketing for them. He could even end his career as an ambassador for them and ride off into the sunset.

I think getting away from Baker will do him some good.

Law of averages says he due for some good luck (knock on wood) He Holeshots the first gate drop of the year and gets uncharacteristically cleaned out by Webb, then the Roczen deal…  Hope the outdoors goes better for him

When did you find out that they made longer school buses than the ones you were on as a kid?

Can Beta afford him? Probably not. Also, the team is primarily SX only. They're racing outdoors this summer because both their riders got hurt. AP doesn't strike me as a Supercross only type of guy. He loves outdoors.

Not really that impressive. That's carbon fiber, it's actually quite brittle.  Damage like this could have easily been caused by something minor, like rough baggage handling at the airport.

I think Eli already said he wants to race again next year.

You are wrong on that. Those CTi braces are so strong , it's amazing! They are not made like a front brake disc cover, or engine guard.
