I’m ok with lappers, you can get lapped and still be involved in a race, but if the lappers are lapping you, you’re not racing anyone and so far off the pace, you’re more of a hazard than anything else.

Whether its one or two laps you’re still penalizing the leader, when it should be penalizing the lappers if they can’t get out of the way their pocket book needs to get real light…
AP crashed mid rhythm section right in front of us on the side opposite the finish, right before the whoops lane.
Track worker couldn’t get his bike shut off and it was pegging rev limiter with the throttle in the dirt. He looked hurt but walked off.

If the rules say you're not allowed to cross a marker and you cross it, I'd guess that it doesn't matter whether you gain an advantage or not
