Ducati 450 MXGP

If the bike performs on par with current bikes, holds together reasonably well, and is priced close to a KTM this thing could really be a seller, especially if they come out with a supermoto or street tracker variant. The Ducati name is way more desirable than KTM even before the financial trouble. The first GP has shown alot of promise and Ducati have not been messing around for a while.

Show me a video of LaRocco getting a hole shot on one of those and I’ll be sold.

Lupino qualified 2nd on the Desmo250 behind Lata. They have 2s/lap on the rest of the field.

Engine looks big for a 250, probably one of the downsides to the Desmo system. Sounds good though

Ottobiano Race 1 Lupino was battling for second when he collided with Mancini, finished 10th.

Race 2 Lupino ended 2nd behind Lata who got the perfect weekend.

Overall Lupino is 3rd for the first race of the Desmo250. 

Valerio Lata is a good benchmark, he currently sits in 12th in the world championship, it will be interesting to see if Lupino can run his pace in the next rounds.

The Ducati has been very impressive but I don’t think “Stock Ducati” for anything means the same as it does for any other manufacturer…it’s a works bike
