Searched around, couldn’t find anything too recent.

I currently have 100% Strata 2, Accuri 2, and Scott Prospects. The Scotts hit my nose a little too low. This is with a 6D ATR2.

Considering Armega or Oakley Airbrake after seeing how nice a quality lens can be (scott). How does an Oakley fit compared to a 100%, and does an Armega fit like a Strata 2?
Nearest dealer is a bit of a hike so trying here first.

If RMATV still does the return on gear if it’s not your size and if it applies to goggles, that’s probably your best bet. Airbrakes are the best goggles I have ever used, and the Prizm lens is next level. I haven’t had 100% and Oakley on back to back in a while so I can’t comment on current fitment.

I gave away all 3 pairs of my Airbrakes. Worst goggle I have ever owned. Constantly fogging. Constantly getting dirt in them. You'd think if they couldn't seal well enough to my face to not get dirt in them they wouldn't fog, but nope. Used them in Arai VX-Pro 4, Moto 10, and Moto 9 Flex. Same in all three. Do love the Prizm lens, just the rest of the goggle sucks for me.

Give me the Armegas (with Hiper lens) all day, every day, and an extra few times on Saturdays and Sundays. I've also got Accuris, but have converted them to rolloffs (Forecast) just because I like the Armegas so much more.

My Klim Edge goggles are a close second to the Armegas. Love their transition auto tinting lens for early morning or sunset timed riding. The Klim mirrored lens coatings don't last all that well though compared to the 100%.

I use both, 100% Armega and Oakley Airbrakes. I use the same helmet as you, the 6D ATR2.

100% fit a little more snug, which I personally like, less moving around of the goggle. Also give's me a slightly better peripheral vision.

Additionally, when I go trail riding, the 100% fog up way less than the Airbrakes.

That being said, I would use the Oakley anytime of day. I only went to the 100% for a change. I'd been wearing Oakley Airbrakes for 10 plus years.

100% is aesthetically the best brand by far but they pinch my nose and I can’t wear them.

Oakley Airbrakes fit amazing and give my nose space.  They also have a great lens replacement system BUT they don’t look as good as 100%

I’m also bald so my helmets tend to rotate forward on my head and the goggles press down so this may be pretty unique for me as a guy with no hair .

Armegas are a tall goggle, top to bottom.  So they tend to get pushed down by the helmet on to your nose, all subjective on fit, of course.   The pre-curved injected lens of the Armega is nice, but it's so thick that if you wear tear offs on the mirrored ones you can get some weird double-refraction ghost reflections going on.

As for the Prospect, do you have the original or the 2.0?   The 2.0 has a huge nose opening that is much better than the original.

I have a goggle bag of them and had the same experience with fogging , love everything else but about them , I wear them if its cool .  Mostly wear 100% these days

I have a 6d atr-3. I love my airbrakes and they are my go-to, but there is no issue with the 100% i just prefer the nose fitment of the airbrakes. Havent noticed any fogging, but i also dont ever sit still for more than a minute or so.

Another option is the Alpinestars Supertech.  They are a little shorter top to bottom than the Armega so they don't push down on my nose as much.  All their lenses are the filtered style like the hiper/prizm.

Interesting…. I have the Prospect I think. I need the goggle to ride further up my nose and not down where it hinders breathing. My helmet forces these too low. The 100% Accuri 2 fit great.

Air brakes do in fact fog if you ride in less than 45° weather

Man, they're both great. As mentioned before, 100% are tighter fitting, which i prefer a lot. Again, as mentioned the armega will pinch your nose. On the other hand, in my opinion,  the airbrake strap is really loose, but the goggle and the fram itself, is perfect. If i could combine the 100% strap with the oakley goggle frame, lens, etc. It would be the greatest goggle ever.

I wear a SM8/10helmet in a 2XL and have been told my nose is not small more than a few times.

I have been meaning to do a comparison video with Scott fury , Prospects the V1 and V2, 100% armea and the Supertech's but have not had the time to film all of it yet. I have some of all but the Prospect 2 .  The foam on the Alpinestars Supertech is molded so its contoured  not squared off like most goggle foam is. The frame is smaller overall than both, while still having a similar sized roll off film and open field of view.  The Supertech foam is not as firm as 100% and not as soft as the Scott.  The area for the nose is the biggest  on the Supertech's out of all of the goggles I listed.

The foam of the Supertech holds and channels sweat very well and vents well . I have not had fogging problems in them ever. I have kept them on while walking around moving and setting up cameras while it was 80+ and humid .  I only have minimal cold weather time in them because of the collection of cold weather Prospects I had built up before getting some Supertech goggles.

I only have the mirror style lenses for the Supertech's that I have. But they all are awesome and I feel like I can see clearer with them on in a lot of conditions. Super clarity , I feel like the injected lens  style is better than the flat style lens. And the Supertech lens is as good or better than any goggle or sunglass I've tried. I have a collection of Oakley sunglasses with some of their special lenses , I don't remember what they call them, but the mirror lenes on the Supertech have a similar feel . I had wanted to try some air brakes because of the sunglasses lenses. But I'm totally happy with the Supertech now. I may grab some Airbrakes to add to my video if I ever have the time to finish it though so I can compare them and possible some others from a bigger nose point of view...

I find it easier to put the Supertechs on and get them into the opening than the Prospects. I do not have any riding  time using the Armega's. I prefer the Supertech  over the prospect. And both over the Armega but again have no riding time in the Armega , only trying them on with my helmet and feeling them that way so far. I have a bigger collection of Prospect cold weather lenses so I use them when its cold and I need a double lens. Alpinestars has a double lens I just have not gotten any yet. And that brings me to one of the best parts of the Supertech. You can change the lens without covering it in finger prints in 10 seconds or less after watching somebody do it one time. Its the easiest lens to change out of all the goggles I've tried. I have not tried the EKS brand which has a similar but different way of swapping the lens,  the Blur or Havoc  magnetic or Oakley airbrakes.  They are a little more expensive than the Prospects and Armega's at r$115-$150, 160 for a pair with  the roll off setup  . But They are high quality and worth trying out.

I've always really liked Oakley products. Prescription glasses, sunglasses and goggles. The Oakley SI site usually has pretty awesome pricing for military/vets.

I also wear a 6D ATR2 and had lots of issues with goggles hitting my nose, sliding down my nose, etc. Major PIA. If you haven't tried the 100% Accuri 2's, give them a try. They fit perfectly and have given me zero issues. I just wish I would've tried them earlier, would've saved me a s#it ton of money. Oakley's, Fox, Scott, etc.. none fit with the ATR-2 as well as the Accuri 2's did.

Consider the Spy Foundation (plus). I have a 6d atr2 and saw the spys have been on sale for only $50. Picked up a pair and they fit good in the helmet.

Although they appear to be closing them out and only a few colors left at this point.

I've never measured it, but the Armega seems like it has a slightly deeper frame than the Strata/Accuri. There is kind of a tunnel vision effect and my prescription inserts don't work as well with the Armegas. The Strata/Accuri has a much more pliable frame and lens which feels like it gives a better seal with my face. The strap is much better on the Armega. In my case, the lower end 100% models work better although the Armegas definitely look cooler. 😄

If you ever used Oakley Airbrake with Prism lens, you would bot be asking this.

Get a pair of Oakley Airbrake with bronze lens for regular sunny days and thank me later.

My first pair of Airbrake is 6yo, more than 300 hours on them and they are like new. I bought a new pair just to have a spare when i did couple races.

Don’t sleep on the Vue with the Vivid lens. Cannot overstate the comfort, performance, and ease of care this goggle offers. Available at dealers and online.

I used to love my 100% Armegas. Last summer I bought a pair of Airbrakes because they looked cool. By far the best goggle I have ever owned.

Thank you for reminding me I needed new goggles! I picked up a new pair of air brakes as well as tear offs.

I buy my prescription glasses, prescription safety glasses for work and sunglasses from there. I guess I buy a lot, they sent me a free beanie this year out of the blue for being a loyal customer. 🤣🤣🤣

I got these goggles for the price shown and the tear-offs were $12. IMG 5434

Update: I decided I just needed to start ordering and testing the fit. I did ask Scott if the Prospect 2.0 fit differently than the Prospect and they said the fit was the same, just a different lens attachment. Oakley Airbrakes arrived today. They fit perfectly. Yet another expensive rabbit hole, but they are sure nice. The distance from the top of the goggle that rests against the helmet, to the foam on the bridge of the nose is ~.3” less than the Scotts so they don’t cause me any nose pinch/breathing issues. Very happy.
