I dig most of your takes, Phil, but I gotta disagree with you on this one. Freise literally went from the right all the way over to the left. Tomac had a rut grab that threw him a bit off balance, but he's not at fault here.

Friese is in the middle and goes left, Tomac is all the way to the left ,and goes right. they meet in the middle. And Tomac went left from the previous jump, to the far left , and then came back.

So he looked back, saw who was coming after JCoop the leader passed him, with blue flags waving, and still decided to pull the trigger on the triple, while moving across the track mid air… in what way isn’t this his fault? Even if he was on the lead lap that would be an egregious cross jump. But he wasn’t. And he sure as shit wasn’t getting out of the way.
Technically speaking, AP jumped onto KR.
Reason Friese is getting heat and KR isn't...
1. Friese was a lapper in his situation; KR was battling for position with the top end of the field.
2. Friese cross jumped, which he does commonly. That's a huge no-go in the eyes of riders and fans alike. Roczen clipped the off on the on-off, lost drive, and wasn't able to triple the rhythm.

He didn't get pitched by the rut, he was course correcting in the air because Vince is a retard and thinks he owns the track no matter what lap he's on.
There are PLENTY of guys who get lapped every week and never get talked about because getting out of the way isn't rocket science.
