Interesting fact, Bariloche is an area where a lot Nazis escaped to after the fall of the third reich. From what I’ve read, a lot of people speak German there & the buildings all have a German look about them.

They found two there in 1994, It was actually ABC news in the US that basically stumbled upon them…Sam Donald literally walked up to Erich Priebke on the street and asked him on camera if he was the SS officer responsible for the Ardeatine Caves Massacre in Italy. They were actually searching for another natzi and pretty much stumbled upon him while they were there. It’s also the area that many tinfoil hatters believe that Hitler ended up living his life out at….

I'm interested to see how Tom Vialle does. Tough to say, he's a bit of an unknown quantity coming into this with a new bike and in a new class.

I love Vialle. He’ll figure things out quickly. HRC has quite the team with him, Herlings, and Fernandez.

I’m excited to see whether Simon can defend his title or if the others have stepped up especially Sacha. He’s definitely fast enough, but in the past he was on the ground far too often. If he’s improved his consistency I’m sure we’re in for a great championship battle.

Besides Sacha and Simon, do you think anyone else in the 250 class has a real shot at the title? Everts? McLellan?

If Valin wants to challenge for a title he needs to do better in sand then he did at Lierop last weekend. Had a decent start in moto 2 in 7th and couldnt get past Heitink, Doensen and Fredsoe and finished in 5th. in Moto 1 he was in 3rd behind Smulders for 5+ laps and couldnt pass him and then crashed.

Obviously just 1 race but not a good look compared to Everts

How many sand races are there this year?

Riola Sardo, Kegums, Lommel, Arnhem. And we'll have to see what Bariloche and Almonte will look like...

That’s the house down by the lake right? I don’t believe Hitler escaped to Argentina but it does make interesting conversations about what happened at the very end of the war in Europe. What happened to Martin Boardman & Heinrich Muller? They just disappeared. Did they get killed or even captured? I’m pretty sure the allies or the soviets would’ve claimed those scalpes.

The dirt isn't what we're used to in Argentina. Looks like a lot of rocks in there.

Almonte is sand... not beach sand but almost, or used to be....

De Wolf is out. He tested his injured thumb today at Lommel but didn't feel strong and comfortable enough.

Gifting shoulder,  Zanchi I don't know

Attempted to follow mxgp closer last year but the streaming service was so bad at the beginning of the year that I was too far out of the loop by the time they got it fixed to bother. Hopefully it works out this year, always enjoy the races when I am able to watch.

I had issues during the first round. Pretty flawless after that.

MXGP needs more tracks like this wide and fast with big jumps , some euro tracks are way too slow and makes for boring viewing. IMO

Always loved the argentina tracks.

Even more if you watch the 125 and 250 emx races which are their “junior” classes formula 2 if you will.

As well as EMX , when it's on, you get the Studio show , plus MX2 and MXGP Timed Practice as well as the qualifiers and Motos.

About to start - 2am here in OZ.
