He looked even better in SX in 23 in my opinion, specially A1. I also think speed wise last year he was right there where he is now, but bad starts and a lot of unusual mistakes.. He looks like the complete package now..

I could look at the same data and argue the opposite. Eli went into the 1:17s when he needed to in order to make passes, and backed off a few percent because he had a lead going into the last lap. 🤷♂️
Not forgetting who his is. Hunter went from not qualifying for A1 in 2024 to being the red plate holder in 2026. Jett came out swinging from the start, but has already had multiple season ending injuries. Hunter may have been slower to get going, but I think he has what it takes to match Jett.
He went down? His bike didn't blow? The amazing broadcast team didn't say anything about it. Dude was racing for the podium and they said nada
