He's probably just in awe from JS7 predicting a pass that actually happened

What is with the kids picking their bikes up behind their backs like that lately? Is somebody teaching this?

I don't get it man. I tried it a few times because I saw other people do it and it was way harder

I know sometimes simple tracks can still make for good racing, but it seems kinda lame that the Futures kids are doing the same exact lines...

If anything, this shows just how talented these young guns really are. I mean, did u see gordon raling that outside line perfectly to double into the corner and pass for second? Havent seen anybody doing that section as clean as he did

Because they’re smart enough not to pull a muscle in their back mid race.

I’ve seen them teach this way for road bike safety since those bikes can be really heavy and tough to get a good grip on. But never for a dirt bike. Might be a smart move in the mud though now that I think about it.

Yeah they’re talented and they’re able to do a lot of the things the 250 pro guys can do, just at a slightly slower pace and less consistently. I don’t think it has anything to do with the track, it’s just the talent level and experience.

I can see it being easier on your arms, with the whole "lift with your legs, not your back" mantra, but it seems way more cumbersome and time consuming. I get it for little kids picking up their 50 or 65, but in a semi-professional race on a big bike? I don't get it.

lol, if they are pulling a muscle picking the bike up they shouldn’t be out there. They aren’t lifting adventure bikes

I was just making an observation, not saying who was at fault. Star seems to collide with one another more than others. Likely because they have far more riders on the track than any other team.

I second this question

Preston Taylor.  Big boy has a crock pot for a belly button.  There's hope for some of us (if we only had the talent).  Props to him for making the night show - more skill than I could ever dream of.

Yea, I could see it if the bike was caked/buried in mud, or on a steep bank. But lightly dirty bike off the side of the track? Don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill but it just strikes me as odd.

If you're having to pick up an adventure bike, you shouldn't be riding.

It takes pressure off your lower back when lifting a bike by using your legs. Lower back injuries happen out of nowhere lol.
