Ghost of Yotei or Indiana Jones? i've got a tough decision to make for my next game.
fuck, wish i had more time to play. i'm down to maybe an hour a week. sucks. so many good quality games recently and upcoming.
From the reviews I’ve read, Yotei is a pretty game but there is too much hand holding and if you die there is no cost. Because you spawn again immediately where you were. But tbh: if you have limited time to play it might be a blessing?
An old one here but I picked up The Order 1886 for £6 and having a blast.
It got slated back in the day (and it's definitely worthy of criticism for excessive handholding) but the game absolutely bleeds atmosphere and still looks stunning in places - especially if you like that sort of weird, gothic, Jack the ripper etc aesthetic. I don't think I've seen a better realised 19th century London in a game.
My son’s and I just started playing the recent release of the new Skate on PS5. It’s been a good time so far and the game seems pretty good to me.

GoY all day long. This game was built for the PS5 Pro.
Wicked game, and you’re right it still looks amazing now considering it’s an early PS4 game. It just needs a 60fps patch.
I think they'r going to steal alot of COD players.
Let’s hope for a return to greatness🤞🏻
CoD can keep their Hello Kitty skins and wallrides

Arc Raiders is the shit.
I could post this in the movies/shows thread, but I figured why not here since it's based on the game.
Should be interesting.
I loved playing the Farcry games. Definitely in my must play list.
I watched some live feed of Arc Raiders and it looks fun.
I started Witcher 3 again because it was one of the few I still had in my ps5 and has new content and even though i had finished it i started over. I also finished Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor which I think was free or maybe 10$. I had not plugged my ps5 in since hurricane. Brought it to farm and started playing whatever was still on it.
Shadow of Mordor was the shit!
Just downloaded it yesterday. Completed the first mission . Not sure when I'll get back on,seems like it will be even more fun once I figure out what I'm doing LoL
Yeah it's got a learning curve. I've never played these extraction shooter looting games before. Do the quest from the traders, that gets you started better than just free balling clueless.
Incoming...
Very rarely do I pre-order these days, very rarely, I actually can't remember the last time I did... But though late to the series (never bothered back in the day) Iv'e become a huge fan. I own all the games both physically and digitally so I simply had to pre-order the PS5 physical version of this. Hopefully they don't drop the ball. Especially excited about another stalker enemy too - I love me a good survival horror stalker enemy tbh.
Farming Simulator 25 has been fun for me lately as well as Flight Sim
I have not played too many of the newer Resident Evil games yet but I will never forget the first one. It was the start of a new gaming era. It was creepy in a good way and the squeaking door screen transitions and the camera angles were so new and different back then. I still blurt out "What happened to Wesker?" a few times a year if I walk up on someone in a weird situation.
Pit Row
I bought the hard copy Ghosts of Yōtei last night at Best Buy while tv and laptop shopping.
Anyone else agree that the Playstation controller needs an off switch? I use my Playstation to also watch Netflix, YouTube, Prime, Peacock etc and if you bump the controller it will skip ahead or even just setting it down will often bump the trigger buttons making it skip, rewind or stop. Its kind of frustrating. A simple off switch would be ideal.
Waiting for wreck fest 2 to come out for ps5,seems like a good game for someone with limited time to play.
Yeah I'm excited for that one, still play the first weekly. I think there's supposed to an offline multiplayer mode?
I used my PS3 and partly PS4 for for that. But ever since smart TV’s came around there really is no need to use the PS for streaming.
Having said that, do you experience stick drift? I have two controllers and both had stick drift. Got both replaced and have not had any experience of unwanted apps opening or skips since in game menus. Worth checking out at least😇
Thank you!
I had been using my PS5 on a large tv that i had for a while that wasn't a smart tv but actually just got new TVs this past week after I finally sold my house and left all my old tvs there. I have new controllers too so I have not experienced any drift.
New rhythm game called Stage Tour coming later this year.

50 vs 50 FPS.
Man, I miss playing video games. Took a job that doesn't allow me to be home much. Sucks.
I'll probably never play it, but I'll buy the Resident Evil game. Love the franchise and want them to continue.
Wow, this looks amazing. A game being big certainly doesn't make it good (often quite the opposite imo) but if it's as filled with as many unique things to discover (RDR2 etc) and the devs have resisted the temptation to lean too much into reused assets/quests/procedural generation etc, it could be utterly incredible for getting lost in... Cautiously optimistic:
Already completely sold out on Amazon here.
