Stadium food prices

Went to Seattle last weekend like we do every year and couldn’t believe the prices of things compared to years past. First of all the chicken strip basket and fries was much smaller AND more expensive. Wanted a 20 ounce bottle of soda- $9.49… Just couldn’t believe it. It’s always been expensive but this year, idk man, it was an absolute joke at everything we looked at. Even the dang t shirts in the pits were $50! Did pick up the Deegan blanket bc our sons name is going to be Hayden so that was cool Smile but yeah, remind us next year to pack sandwiches…

Any outrageously priced things at your local stadium?

That’s about $2 more than a soda at the movies on a Wednesday night.

You're going to name your son after a douchebag? Why don't you just name him Douchebag?

Simple solution, quit eating the garbage. Probably spent $10 on pepto and had to stop to blow up a truck stop bathroom too. Lol

But yet, people keep purchasing said items. Once no one buys that garbage, they'll change their tune, hopefully.

I don't drink alcohol anymore, but at Houston a big 20oz stadium cup of "premium" beer was 23 bucks. Riddick-ulous. Glad I left that scene.

I guess it's weather dependent, but that's why you bust out the tailgate grill and cooler out in the parking lot.

Or an empty Camelback bladder in with you, and fill it up in the bathroom sink.

Been to a restaurant lately? This is the new economy….prices up, portions down….looking around, it’s probably a good idea to reduce portions for Americans …..you shouldn’t be drinking soda, absolutely garbage sugar water….best seat in the house is home….carry on….

I cannot comprehend the inability to go 3 hours without a beer and buying one for $23.

Buying stadium beer is madness. It used to be fun to go to a sporting event with friends and get a little buzzed, but now it’s a flex: “look at how rich I am, I just bought my woman $80 of drinks!”

May seem crazy; but, Arlington seems like one of the more “affordable” venues when it comes to food & drink!

It’s probably just me. 🤣

For some silly reason…I always find a way to… go to Arlington.

This year I booked it while watching the race in Seattle…as I watched a friend have a mediocre night after putting in a helluva effort…sat there and booked the flt…OUCH…DAMN! Flts have REALLY gone up…looked at rooms…yup, they’ve gone up…but, hey…

This is Supercross &…”We’re goin’ East! Hey, Jo’s back! Pierce is at Star! Smith is on a 450!”

And…the people of Texas…the bar-b-q-q…an ice cold Shiner…that stadium…watching all 3 Zook’s get in the main, AGAIN 👍🏼…well, it was worth it.

And, yes, believe it or not…Arlington is one of the best stadiums and the food is awesome and not too crazy on the wallet. Sounds crazy, I know…

Welcome to the 2026 economy. 😎

I was at West World in Scottsdale, AZ for a week. The food court burgers were $18. Want fires with that? Drinks were $10. Cinnamon roll? $13, Pecans on that ? $15. Gyros, $15 to $18.  I passed on all of it since we were in the RV park and had food. For comparison, we went to Twin Peaks and I got a burger AND fries for $14.

Have you drank the water in Arlington? It’s almost “Central Florida” bad! 😝

Cmon rookies. We tailgate in the parking lot, pull a strong buzz and eat 3 hamburgers. Monster can for the pit party.

Then we either run the old plastic flask in the boot or just buy 1 beer to maintain the buzz during the race.

We do not buy food, alcohol, or merch inside the stadium.

Yeah, I agree.

But they might balk at bringing in a hiker pro water filter.

It’s not cheap but it’s all worth it to me!  If purchasing stadium food and beer is hurting you that much then just stay home lol

Haven't seen a functioning drinking fountain since the (insert the unmentionable topic) era.

And free coffee at home depot's  ??

A distant memory.

Yep, plastic flask in the boot every time. I refuse to pay those rip off prices.

Yesterday at DFW…to take Tylenol for my pissed of new knees…due to the walks to and from the stadium (should be “pissed off sore stiff legs” that were about to be Really Pissed Off after sitting on plane for hours 🤣).

I just budget for it … it’s like going to the airport, you know you are getting ripped off but my vacation starts at the airport so that’s where the 15 dollar beers start!

It’s a night of entertainment, you pay or don’t go and watch from the house.

The one that gets me is the $6 bottle of water, I know everything is going to be pricey but you can buy a 32 pack case of water for $6.

Now that is some profit margin!

Food and alcohol is expensive everywhere now unless you are eating shit fast food, so it is to be expected I guess. Does make for an expensive evening, but that is the choice we make!
