Tomac got a crap start, I had him in 12th and got to 4th in like 1 lap, could see Hunter. "All I got to do is beat Hunter....."
Enjoy this clean respectful incredible racing while it lasts, this is the peak of the 450 class. Once deegs moves up hes gonna bring his bullshit drama all over the place and all this gentlemans racing is gonna be over. Savor this season its probably the end of an era.
Great race! Kenny was VERY diplomatic with Hunter, so props for not ruining his night because he easily could have. Happy for the 96 though, he has earned it.
but he said by himself after the heat win ... he'll getting better to the main 😏
Come on man don’t think of Deegan for a few minutes! Do better! 🙏
The thing is he still looks good. I just think Hunter, Tomac and Webb are like 0.5% faster right now, while Kenny is obviously the best guy in the first half of the race most of the time. But you can tell once they got by him they're able to drop him. I don't think he's really fading, they just have slightly more pace.
Ok but still sick though 💁♂️
Classic RC right there, he must have a studio exec in front of him lol
I think Tomac has been by far the best guy this season, but has had some bad luck and that's why the points are as close as they are.
However, Hunter has been improving every race and in my opinion has been the fastest guy the last 2 races.
If the pattern continues, barring injury/illness and mechanicals or other dnfs, I'm fully expecting this championship to be between Hunter and Eli. They're a class above the rest at the moment
Seems like a lot of folks haven't noticed that Roczen looked visibly ill all day. He'll be fine... He fought with all he had tonight.
I think it’s going to be chaotic and fun. We are in a good spot in the sport.
For real. Literally said it on the broadcast. He rode his ass off
He looked and sounded spent after the heat race.
Pit Row
Agree. It’s going to go down to the wire between 96 and 3.
as always
Ain't no way your shoes are whiter than these mother f'ers.
Is this guy's name deadass Cameron Camera
First of all, huge congratulations to Hunter. I hoped his first win would be memorable for him, and that definitely did not disappoint, he fully deserved that.
Also proud of Kenny and Eli gritting it out despite their sickness. You could see how gassed Kenny was after his heat and Eli after the main.
What a race! I could watch that one all over again. This season has been an absolute treat. On to Daytona!
Freight trained by two or three guys.
Ew.
That retired life
Tomac still probably the favourite to win it all. But its so good to see Hunter finally get that win. If he and Eli get starts at Daytona it should be epic.
Tomac is pretty much the GOAT of Daytona… which is usually a very SMX style track where Hunter has thrived. The racing this year has been so good.
Honda couldn't have had a much better night with a bunch of dealers and corporate figures in the house.
Hunter has been the fastest guy on the track in most of the races by the end of the main already, early race intensity was a little off compared to the other guys though. If he continues to look like tonight for the rest of the season, I don't even know if Tomac can keep up, but you for sure can't make a single mistake vs Tomac. Let's see what that first win does to his confidence!
It’s amazing he did as good as he did! 💪
I feel like Eli’s been riding this way the last few years and that’s why he’s had those crashes or gotten hurt. Staying with that elite level speed since ‘22/‘23 has bitten him a few times I believe.
