People hate on Haiden Deegan for being 'cocky,' but look: He's 20, been riding dirt bikes (hours) longer than most adults here. And with an amazing peer group. SEVEN Loretta's titles out of 18 classes. Three AMA pro championships in 3.5 years. Likely adding more in 2026. (in '22 he only raced twice) not only that, he was ASKED to represent USA in MXoN, though he didn't race. Yeah, he's confident, because he's earned it. Granted he's been on the aggressive side with Davies & Shimoda but he's also been checked. And that was what created so much division because Davies and Shimoda, they are great guys.
Just like TDS people don't care about the facts behind the reason, they just see the face value. I love what the Deegan's have brought to the sport. Though the Loretta's Protest in '22 will forever be the Epstein's Files for them. The AMA: if mediocrity were a governing strategy. We see you, Yamaha. Not subtle.

Deegan has stamped his authority as the Alfa male, just like Hannah did back in the day. The deal with Shimoda was a real dick head deal but riders competing against Deegan need to man up and stick it back to him. What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander.
Deegan has most guys beat before the gate even drops and I for one, if I was racing, I'd never put up with it. It give it back to him with interest.
I have nothing against him and enjoy watching him own the field but it will be so much better if the other dudes come to the party to play the same game.
Deegan has a lot of confidence, but it seems shallow/fake.
If he didn’t have Brian and his band of thugs around him at all times, I doubt his attitude would be anywhere near as cocky.
Hannah was legit fearless, no matter who was on his side, or who he was pissing on. Deegan doesn’t have that depth.
