NC will not do anything to them.  We had a guy sell us a stolen bike, yes we ran the vin before buying but the deputy that took the initial report wrote the vin down incorrectly.  We had a bill of sale, paid with a check and everything.  Bike was stolen from a friend of mine so when we put it up for sale he recognized the bike and called us.  They arrested the guy we bought it from and put him on probation.  Gave him 2 years to pay us back.  We'll we are over 2 years later, haven't gotten one penny and he is still on probation.  Not paid one dang penny back and walking around free.  Total BS....

I’m surprised that they used an undercover cop to catch one of them selling a stolen bike. Didn’t think they “wasted” resources for things like stolen dirt bikes.

They'll snitch on the people that helped them move them to lower the charges.Theres no way 2 took 17 bikes alone.
