I've always liked this photo.

Perhaps a more knowledgeable member of VitalMX could say when and where it was taken.

“The kids on the couch” at their last meeting ever. Southwick 06, you would have hoped TP199 would have been battling them for the win there. But alas…(cudby photo)

Travis was only 22 here, but already spent.   Also the season he went tow to toe with Ivan in the heat and went over the falls.

And one month after this he pulls the double backflip!

This one is epic but how about the original wall jump from 2011? Did anyone get a high quality photo of that one? Stew did a lot of crazy lines but that one has to be top 3. 2 seconds a lap faster 😲

The fact that James even "considered" using that first bump, or whoop, or whatever you want to call it, as a means to pop over that wall is mind-boggling. Actually executing that thought is otherworldly.

Sure wish I still had my collection of 80s Dirt Bike and MXA mags.. there is a shot on the cover of the 500cc bikes roosting side by side trying to push a CAT dozer.. it's a little cloudy or dark out if I remember.  There were more photos of the same in the article itself.

Did Kalos walk away from that?

I believe he did, think he commented on my Instagram page last year when I put it up…. Not my pic. ** From the Mike Lewis archives

Eh!, just a typical dual sport ride!!

This thread is the very cool. And I agree to a previous comment, I too miss watching pros wring the shit out of 125s (and 250 2strokes). Thanks for starting it!!!
