IMHO, I really believe Winkler is one of the best in the business, but I really want to see some changes to the tracks.
As they are now, they're all the same. Jump jump turn.
Bring back:
Tornado Tunnel
Start Breakers
Hannah's Revenge
RJ's Rad N Bad Whoops....
Maybe it's just me, but those old track designs were cool and really closed the competition. Bring back corner whoops. Tossing sand in here and there doesn't do much. I'm just sayin'.

I totally agree though. Tracks are getting stale with the 450s especially. Quad this, triple that corner repeat. Is there a way to break up sections and make them close enough in speed to where they can go inside or out and be competitive?
And for las Vegas, can they move the f'ing start? For as much as they try to get you to go see the races at the stadium, the Vegas start and entire back section is blind if you're there live to watch it. If I wanted to watch the races on a screen I'd rather do it in the comfort of my own home.
As for the Parastyle jump, that was the LA Coliseum, Pontiac did it a few times also until that armpit was shuttered...lol
Ever since they've added the sand-sections (Notably at Anaheim)...I've loved listening to "who" does or doesn't bitch about it during the track walk.
Guys like K-Dub jus' eat it up.
Although I think the thinking this year is to keep the field closer together so less obstacles like that that quickly cause lappers.
More sand.
Pit Row
was it last year when a few of the riders like Larocco , MC and a couple others designed some tracks? those tracks were sweet!! and by far the coolest ones that year!
in fact , Larocco's track was simply awesome!! then someone else ( can't remember which rider ) designed one right after that.....and it was totally bad ass as well!
Sand and whoops around corners tend to be one lined once everyone finds the best way through momentum pulls you one way or another.
Less 90's and more 180's is the biggest thing really. I don't think it's any surprise that Arenacrosses provide for such great racing all the time.
I don't know how big a whoops section would have to be to slow these guys down. From experience, hitting a whoop section on a 450 is a whole lot easier to stay on top than on a 250 2 stroke. The whole reason in 00-01 and such guys couldn't stay on top was simply the ran out of power. That doesn't happen with a 450 nearly as easily. Best set up I've seen for this was Indy 2 years ago when they had a flat hairpin corner right before them where the guys were coming almost dead stop out of the inside before them.
DirtWurx is very capable and I know they are just doing what's asked of them, but there is just no creativity there anymore. Cookie-cutter.
Go back to letting the riders design selected tracks, or their home track.
Or let Pastrana design them all.
And remember that time that they let a fan design one section? That was cool.
Bigger whoops, over/under bridge, elevated starting area, off camber corners.
Jump, Jump, Jump, Turn.
Personally, I'd like to see a huge soap bubble machine between the finish line double.
I think the tracks are fine, they create good racing, why complain?
