My name is Jake. I used to race local pro in California, Nevada, Utah and was working towards getting my AMA pro license. Until, on October 9th 2010, I broke my femur in 4 places while practicing at mesquite mx park. I required immediate and extensive surgery that including pitting in a titanium rod, titanium cage and 6 screws. After surgery I woke up to the doctor telling me what they did in surgery and unfortunately If I ever wanted to ride again, it'd be close to 2 years.

So now I stay connected to the sport by hanging out on this board with the other jerkies and I have been wrenching for my good friend Ronnie Goodwin# 711 in sx lites west.

If my memory serves,on a pulp pod with Tassinari, he said ktm stopped using the vforce on their bikes from the factory and they are now a Chinese made rip off of his design. May be some poor quality reeds out there

You should hardcoat the shock body as a band aid fix to a body that has worn through the kashima coating, typically near the seal head, or when it gets grooved internally. Actually it isn’t his spot to pick any gate after the site lap. Once you pick a gate that the gate you get. The same would be for a red flag full restart. What's your height and weight? Free sag? Type of riding? Age? Happen to know the preload on the spring? Sag between 105-110mm and fork height 2mm. Revalve would be best but that's a good jump off point.

That's awesome both of you guys have not had any issues. I have seen quite a few that due have some issues that I haven't seen much on actual kit or coated stock stuff that's all. As mentioned above the stock 17-18 forks are good in stock condition. The kit shock is better, especially for supercross with the 18mm shaft.

Do not grease that bearing. Apply a small amount on the bolt but do not grease. Grease eats away at the teflon coating and causes them to wear and get loose much much quicker
