Deegan clinches early and saddles up the 450?

Can he ride a 250 in the 450 class?

I hope so.  He is going to eventually make a great 450 class even more entertaining.  Not that he will necessarily be as fast as the top guys.  But I'm 100% sure there will be drama where ever he is in the field. 

Head probably be a threat for a top five with a good start.  

No him and his team will take any time they can get to prepare for the 450 outdoor debut, 100%.

Normally I’d be all for it, but do we really need his high school drama injected into what may be a tight championship?

I can see it happening…. They wanted to see where he was at in the off season races.  They’ll want him getting 450 experience as soon as it makes sense.

Sometimes I wonder if certain riders would be better off riding the 250 in the 450 class. 

It's allowed. Privateers will often race their 250 in the 450 class on the opposite coast.

McElrath rode his 250 at Daytona one year when he was with TLD. I think he finished pretty well, too.

It’s going to be a snoozer in a few rounds. Sexton is the fastest guy by a good margin. 

He was last year, too, but couldn't keep it off the ground.

A couple more takeouts and he’ll clinch with 2-3 rounds to go..

Didn’t Schock ride the 250 at Daytona in the 450 class last year? He finished 14th and Racer X has him listed as riding a 450, but I’m almost certain he was on a 250.

Ironically, I also remember him looping it out there really hard and landing hard on his ass. Did I dream that?

I would be very happy if my prediction is wrong and that is true, not gonna lie.
