Well…another example of media being afraid of loosing speaking to them privileges, so they suck up.  If I hear another “journalist” say “ I’m not sure if he meant to put him down, but I don’t think he cared it happened.  Barf!  He landed, he aimed, he brakeslid right where he aimed, and made the contact exactly where he aimed with the result he was going for.  Why in one breath do they praise his bike skills as some of the best ever, and then act like he is a beginner at his first areanacross in order to excuse what he does, on purpose, almost weekly.  Lost respect for every “journalist” spewing any level of doubt.

Once you realise they are not journalists and truly accept they are 'journalists' (as you rightly note) your expectations for what they do can be appropriately lowered.
