I did not see it talked about, from the video it looked like he was trying to work the shifter, did he hit neutral?

I think he was attempting to pull the bike up with his foot. I assume, he had his foot under the rear brake too.

Upshift for more wheel spin to bring the front end up.

The way he nosed it in, it’s remarkable he didn’t end up over the bars.  Then to climb the tuff blocks and still keep it on 2 wheels was incredible.  But you could tell his heart rate went crazy and he lost focus for at least 2 laps after it happened.

I thought he hit a false neutral as well.  Regardless, an incredible save and I am surprised more guys didnt have issues on that 3!

What dude? 😂

He was up shifting to gain wheel spin.

It's amazing that he attempted to shift up and manipulate the bike from not endoing. When something like that happens to me, I panic rev and basically freeze. And to be honest, I don't think my panic rev is a conscious effort to get more wheel spin. It just kind of happens lol

The only time when I get to upshift to prevent an endo is while playing MX Bikes lol, these guys have a level of awareness and reaction time that is impossible to comprehend.

Yeah, very heads up riding by Hymas.

I wouldn’t jump that, but if I was in his shoes it would’ve been a classic panic rev and over the bars.

That’s why he’s a professional.

Meanwhile I get arm pump so bad at Chaney Ranch, whiskey throttle through the rollers, almost die… pull off the track. Legit done for the day.

Homeboy almost dies DURING the main, has to regroup and gather himself. Wild.

Nice save. I remember seeing Wilson do the same thing with the upshifts many years ago. Must be a racer's instinct or something.
