The point I’m trying to make is that this one could have just been incidental, but people end up on the ground with Deegan making passes on them more often than not.
At this point, it’s difficult to tell what’s just a racing incident vs. Deegan being Deegan.
Not that I agree with it but Ill admit he has a ruthless desire. Not many if any are happy to or just straight up don't care about taking out their own teams mates. I'm guessing he sees absolutely nothing wrong with it? And by all reports Bobby Regan is the same?
Hunter's time will come; if he spends more time studying his competition than punting them he'll get an advantage faster. Even with Eli/Kenny you can see they will give a little and then try to repass. All of them were in good position and there was plenty of time to pass if they were faster. Going for the kill will put a target on their back and may cost championships in subtle retaliation. Not full AMA illegal hard contact retaliation, but Deegan-like ride-em-high-until-they-fall. Frankly Deegan's pass on Anstie didn't seem necessary, he had speed on Anstie in many places and had time to get around him and ride away. Kitchen's pass was more urgent; he was behind due to bad start.
Let’s think about how many. The pass on Jordan Smith, Juju, Davies, Schock, Shimoda, and Max.
Smith and him went back and forth and that was like his 2nd sx ever, the pass where he rode JuJu high wasn’t bad at all, Davies wasn’t bad, he was a dick to Schock and JoSho, and the pass on Max wasn’t bad.
Not even close to the same thing. Anstie checked up and gave Deegan as much room as he could, Deegan took it all and swung his rear tire into Max to take him down because he views him as a threat. Deeganites don't understand racing, or much of anything at all

Idk man, Deegan needs to mature, being an aggressive rider is one thing but when teammates give up a lane essentially and still get cleaned out that’s another thing. The kids talent is next level so why the bullshit? He creates unnecessary risk for himself, (see Jo Shimoda incident) and whoever he’s involving. If I’m Bobby Regan I’m pissed, your team was set for a 1/2 finish and because of his undisciplined behaviour that doesn’t happen and you now have animosity under your tent.

Love watching Kenny, Hunter and Eli dicing it out. They get withing inches of each other, not worried about the other guy throwing a stick in your spikes, outcome will be decided on talent. Punks like Barcia, Freezy and Deagan think knocking someone over is a skill like cornering or hitting the whoops. Knocking someone over eliminates them from the race no different then sabotaging their motorcycle prior to the start. Chicken shit move. Just like last year with the #30.
Seen quite a few videos of the pass now on socials. Max is giving him the room and Haiden definitely goes up to make contact with Max. Not saying it’s right or wrong, but I’m probably not passing a teammate like that.
Great pass? No.
Good pass? Yes.
Great would have been no contact.
