Listen, I'm no pro SX rider, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, and well, I'm having a hard time figuring out how changing literally everything from last week is going to be the magic bullet for a win. I think it is the opposite. I think of Chase like he is on a dingy at sea, not knowing quite where land is, and he rows for a bit in one direction, then decides fuck it, and goes in another direction, then another, then the season is over and he is miserable, and he is still out at sea..... My spider senses are tingling and they are suggesting this pairing is in for a long season.
Why doesnt he just ride the thing and sort himself out??
But lets face it, Kawi hasnt done anything since the RV days, the only exception is Febreve(?). RV rode Kawi since he was born, even then he quit early imo.

Chase was fast and consistent tonight, except for the first hundred yards where he sucked. But he never slowed down substantially and worked his way forward the entire race. The track was better, but that wasn’t all of it.
Whatever he did, it worked pretty good.

We need a counter at the bottom of every race for how many days have passed since the last time Chase hit the gate. I like the guy but holy crap man.

When all things are working Chase is about the only dude who can run with Jett, but geez, there is always some silly mistakes that handicap him. Hitting the gate last night stopped him from competing for the win. Last to 4th was an excellent result but he is like 18 points down after two races.

Yeah, Prado really showed the world that it was just the bike last year with his 12th place finish last night, rolling around and looking backwards again like last year.
Sexton also cemented it by going from last to 4th lapping the fastest times before he ran out of steam or settled the last 5 minutes, the Kawasaki really looked horrible out there..
People really put to much in to the A1 results regarding flaming Kawasaki and praising KTM with no middle between.

Chase looked good on his Kawi, other than the gate debacle. He'll be fine.

What if the reported 70 something fork settings that Prado tested last year and Oscar being with him for a week at Club are actually true and Team Kawasaki is not as bad as Vitards want them to be.
I’m mind blown.
Wondering if Prado's result was in direct correlation with his sound. Meaning, he rides in a higher gear, so needs engine to pull in that gear. If they had to drop sound lets say 3 db or something, it would effectively change his power. Just a thought.
So Prado was 29 seconds from 1st at A1 and 50 seconds last night but the Kawasaki was the problem.
It was in direct correlation to him not getting a holeshot. Prado is a great rider but I can't see a scenario where he starts 13th and rides his way through this pack into a top 5 finish.
