First in points as well.
He had a good ride. To be the first man out of the main with the riders we had was impressive.
I cant believe more riders dont take advantage of social media and professional vlogs.
Is he approaching the point where not making mains is going to affect sponsors? That rig does look good.

I'd argue he gets more TV time thus provides more value being in the LCQ and in the front there than riding around in 19th place of the main.
Good thread! We went to A1 and yes KM does a better job of pushing his sponsors than most factory teams. Congratulations to him and he is learning how to run a business. I do feel all of those other privateers need to learn from him quickly.
I agree, Dennit. Been a fan of Kevin Moranz's for a few years now.
Not being a dick but I never heard of him.
I’m hopeful that he makes more mains…which…ain’t easy in this crowd. There’s enough Factory Backed bikes to make a full gate.
As others have said, his program looks amazing.
Top Shelf Privateer
I'd say he would make a good team manager or owner when its time to hang up the boots.
Almost everyone has one now? It’s way over saturated market.
That’s what he is doing now as well as racing.
That doesn't mean you're being a dick, it just means you haven't been paying attention to the sport of Supercross. He's been on screen and talked about regularly for the past several seasons as an "on the bubble" qualifier and LCQ standout.
Well, at least one of the Main positions is open from last week (Barcia) and potentially two with Mookie. The mains get easier to make as the season goes on, that is if the privateers can stay healthy as well. Good for KM, reminds me of Jeff Glass back in the day.
Jeff Glass, he's the reason my family switched to Tide Detergent (and still use it). I support the brands that support our sport.
For real. Who doesn't know who Moranz is if you've watched sx, I dont know, the past 3yrs?

Even more so if you're a big enough fan of moto to create a vital forum account yet you don't know the guy who is on TV weekly?
Pit Row
It was Surf detergent! lol
My dad who barely pays attention to moto these days and maybe watches a race every 3 weeks when hes drinking knows who kevin moranz is lol.
Honestly he's been out of the spotlight the last few years with injuries so I could see a newer fan not really knowing who he is. He was definitely much more covered a few years back when he was getting crazy good starts and making most of the mains. Great guy too-happy to see him getting all the support he does.
This. When I was a title sponsor for a few years on a privateer effort. It was always better when we went to the LCQ and battled for top 4 or even better won the LCQ because we had so much coverage versus when we were 7-8 in a heat and transfer straight to main and finish 12-18 in the main.
He's having fun living my dream - so cool - I wish him continued growth and success.
Lol, I was thinking Surf but wrote Tide....I'm getting old.
I wonder if he's in qualifying position in a heat he makes the marketing decision to drop back and go to LCQ? 🤫
Glass was Surf detergent. One of the early outside-the-industry sponsored racers.
I been watching supercross pretty much every chance I can get ever since it started to be on tv, I use to rent races on VHS back in the 90's, but I do admit I don't really pay much attention to heat races and LCQ's maybe that's how I missed him.
He caught my attention a few years back with some good riding in an LCQ so I started following him on Instagram. He does seem to have a really professional approach and it's cool to see him moving forward.
Glass was sponsored by Surf detergent late 80's thru mid 90's but ohio native Tom Carson was sponsored by Tide detergent before that in 1985/86.
