Rewind function peacock?

Yes, my rewind function always works differently depending on which device I'm using to watch the race. 

I had the same thing happen. I was always able to rewind to the beginning, and nothing now.  Also on a Firestick.  I tried to pause as well, and only stopped for about a min and then started playing again.  Ive had the Premium package from the start and havent had issues before.  I didn't try it on any other device. 

I watched through web browser on laptop and started about an hour late and was able to rewind to the beginning. Skipped through the fluff and caught up right before mains.

Yep my Samsung tv doesn’t allow me to rewind. I joined the race late as I could’ve swore I read 7pm central time and couldn’t rewind. So dumb!

Hoping this was more of a glitch than a permanent thing,  but we'll see

Same issue watching through Xbox. Used to be able to pause. 

Same here.  Rewind worked on the iPhone, no-go on Fire Stick. Glad it’s not just me. Anyone have Peacock IT phone number?

Was able to watch from the beginning on my phone, tried it on the iPad and it let me go back to around the end of 450 heat 1, TV only let me go back about 30 seconds.  

One thing of note is on my phone when the event concludes and im still watching, it'll kick me out and I have to wait for the replay to be posted to finish watching, this time it let me watch the "live" broadcast til the end even though the race had been over for a couple hours. 

Rewind didn't work for me on the fire stick, but did on the roku

Peacock hasn’t caught up to the regular standards of a VHS yet.  Maybe that’s the $39.99/month plan coming in the future 

Yep...peecock sucks. I too couldnt rewind via Firestick like I used to be able to do.

I tried an appletv device, same.

I'm not 100% sure what will happen on my Sony google tv, but I will try it in a future race.

Roku TV the same. Paused before first moto, came back 10 minutes later and the TV had started playing while I was gone and race was over. It did not allow rewind so I was SOL. This is maddening! 

Same issue on fire stick. I came in after finishing dinner, expecting to be able to rewind to the start. I only missed the opening through the first 250 heat. I didn’t try on any other device, just yelled at the tv(peacock) for a few then settled down to watch. Still muttering at peacock. 

Just streaming live from my smart TV I can't pause, rewind, nothing.

But the replay I can do all of that, but you have to wait until hours after it is over the see the replay.

 It is frustrating watching it live and not at least being able to pause. Peacock app sucks, has for years. 

It is the only streaming app (and we have many) that I have this problem.

Edit to add- and the audio doesn't match up with their lips, there is like a half second delay. 

Yes - Amazon Fire Cube rewind did not work on the preview show and the night show.  I posted on another forum about it.  Had to wait for the replay on Sunday morning to watch.

BTW - I had a lot of issues watching on Sunday.  RW/FF stalled many times and I had to back out and restart, then sit through 2 minutes of commercials every time.  Peacock went backwards into the stoneage on this one.

I can’t rewind the live race from the tv in my living room, but I can rewind the live race from the tv in my bedroom and from the app on my phone 🤨🤨🤨 lol

Just wondering if anyone has found a fix for this Fire TV issue?

Might just have to rob a Chromecast from another TV no problem with those...

I have Apple TV boxes 

They always allow me to rewind and pause 

Plenty of nights I’ve come home and the race has started and I just rewind to the beginning 

they wont let you rewind the olympics either.....so i don't watch it.....way too much fluff for my taste........just show the athletes 

I was using a chromecast from my phone and it would let me rewind on my phone but when casted to my tv it was doing this bs. I noticed my parents appletv let them rewind so I literally bought an appletv just so I had this function. Absolutely ridiculous.

I just found this thread. Not sure how I missed it csuse I used to start it late and rewind as well. No longer can do that. Firestick also.

I switched to my shitty TCL Costco smart TV and can pause/rewind like before.  🤷

My Sony TV is Android and allows full rewind, pause, etc., however, Peacock sucks. 

I always have the best results with my laptop plugged into my TV. "Smart TVs" in my experience shit the bed at like 2-3 years old. Not as a TV, just as a streaming device. Roku sticks or boxes seem pretty good and last longer also. Nothing beats plugging the laptop into the TV tho. I plan on purchasing a mini pc eventually to just keep plugged into the TV at all times.
