Hope this kid's getting some support.I love his videos and his attitude. Some of his best stuff are from those shootouts and things that you wouldn't see any other coverage from. I love the effort he puts in on a limited budget. Hopefully everything works out big!

His take on the dealer show was funny!

He could be the Dennis Miller Monday Night Football equivalent on the SX broadcasting team.

I think he’s great. The commentary is spot on and exciting to listen to. I’m a fan.

Gotta be real.  Dude argues with people in the comments on Facebook which doesn’t come across professional at all.  Hes funny and I watch his videos but someone needs to tell him not to inflect his voice up at the end of every sentence.  Makes it hard to listen to him.  I know that’s critical but he’s in the right position to make it happen for himself and I think some coaching could help him really do it…also his typefaces on his YouTube videos need updated.  That’s all.  Free advice nobody asked for.

Hung out with him at the TLD-Red Bull-Ducati intro on Tuesday night. He’s runnin’ around with the ASV peeps while he’s out here and covering all sorts moto events and “goin’s on”…and putting up some awesome social media posts.

He’s got some seriously messed up bones (knees) and he’s a straight up “champ” about it. I’m trying to get him seen and get some images(MRIs) of what’s goin’ on with all that while he’s out here.

His positivity and Pure Stoke is Fucking Infectious.

MB is pure 2 Stroke Moto.

I like that he seems just one of the boys, and gives you great insight and banter. Makes racing fun to follow. And good lord he knows how to catch the good clips haha

Count this as another fan.  Knows the players. His race calls are quite good.

He roasts idiots who try to pull the tough guy act which is hilarious. You must be one of those “tough guys”

No I don’t argue in comments I just happened to see a clip of him telling someone they were a nobody because they didn’t race pro on the level he did.  Pretty clownish IMO.

I don’t see other top media guys arguing with a guy about how slow they are in comments so, yeah I don’t think it’s a good move.

Matt is gold, I hated his takes on Julien Beaumer after Salt Lake but glad that we have a voice like his in our sport

I used to follow Matt because he put a 250 2 stroke into an outdoor national.

A while back he started cranking out content where he would go to an amateur race/ride day and "add commentary". Some of it was whatever, but a lot of it was grating. It was usually the same jokes, over and over again: making fun of people's cheap bikes/suspension, criticizing people for being slow, calling e.g. anyone on a Honda "Chance Hymas" or "Hunter Lawrence", etc. The bit that rubbed me the wrong way was standing on the sidelines at (I think) Glen Helen and making fun of people trying to ride in the mud. When they got stuck, it was "why did you even try?"

Quite a few people called him out for punching down in the comments and, like most people who "lol trigger snowflakes", he did not take it well. I've trained with former pros before and I've never seen them waste time making fun of e.g. some random 16 year old on a clapped out TTR making the best of his trip to the track. I assume it's engagement farming.

I limit the amount of time I spend consuming content over doing things (like riding) anyway, and decided that was content I didn't need to waste time on.

Think of how many laps you could have done instead of commenting.

I don't understand why he has so many followers.  I could maybe understand if his footage wasn't so horrid.

He was cool to follow when trying to race the 250 smoker.

He reminds of a modern day Larry Huffman aka Super Mouth. Thats a compliment by the way I love his announcing style!!!

Doesn’t matter if I do or don’t agree with you but I think he’s doing just fine for the audience he has. That being said I don’t think he should change as he might lose some people going the more “professional” route. Matt is a solid dude and I don’t think many people know how dedicated he is to moto and the work he puts in. It’s all fun and games just on a iPhone but guy is running laps around the track all day long and not exactly traveling comfortably. Good on him wish him all the success.

All of the tears. “I’ve trained with pros”. Cool bro good story maybe share again at lunch.

And? He's posted a little over 100 posts a year. I dont even recognize his name and I've been here 17yrs. I just got locked out of my original account

1/10/2026 2:31pm

There's zero malice behind his jokes and if you really think he's flexing he's former pro, I dont know what to tell you. He constantly says how much he sucks and how slow he is. He really believes that too as he's raced the best. Nobody can handle jokes anymore. I never thought I'd see that in mx. Yeah he'll screenshot comments from keyboard warriors. Good, its funny

Ive seen his POV Footage at Nationals. If he's got bad knees, its not slowing him down any. Love his vids.
