Why's everyone talking about March banks? What does he have to do with Prado?

How often will Marchbanks beat him in SX? That's definitely a battle I'm gonna keep an eye on lol.

Not expecting him to win A1 but he already looked in a different universe compared to last year.

Hope he can carry that momentum into the main.

But leading and being able to make those first mistakes without 5 riders next to him probably helped him a bunch.

Also gives him confidence, which is a dangerous thing for a rider with talent and good equipment.

No.  Not at all. Not a fan of quitters.

I’m excited to see if Marchbanks can embarrass him.

Well I guess this ain’t gonna happen.

Great ride by Prado.  He was probably a P4 in that heat without the other drama.  That doesn’t matter, he won the heat.

I need to see him in the last 5 minutes of the main.  He had some anchor drops.  Is that fixed with the bike?

Still factual.

I didn't say he would. I said he should based on his experience.

OK. Wow. So a 2x MXGP champion is comparable to an AMA perennial 250 privateer? Wow, I knew Prado had damaged the GP brand, but not that bad.

Jorge had a multi year multi million dollar deal. His expectations should be alitttle higher than Garrets fill in ride that is a tenth of Prados contract.

I get that you don't like the comparison, but when some of the sports commentators were leaning toward Marchbanks, people are going to call it out...

I’m surprised this is the only Prado thread.  I’d guessed 3 or 4 different posts.   Glad he did good.  Green ain’t bad!

I'm sure the Kawi isn't THAT bad but holy cow did Jorge, Marchbanks and Sexton make it look bad today. This race really couldn't have gone any better for him. wow

Well, shit. Not many saw that coming. Not even Jorge, by the sound of it. What a ride.

Here to eat some crow. And might as well do it to the person who has been the biggest Prado defender...

I’m still of the opinion that Kawi staying silent during last year’s saga, is an admission of guilt in not living up to their end of the bargain.

I am here too. We never heard anything from anyone in a position of leadership in that team, not a word, of course they were telling their side to their friends in the media, but officially, we heard nothing. It seems also that Prado is not allowed to talk about it at all as part of the agreement to split, so he’ll likely never get to tell it from his point of view

If you truly believe you did everything you could and should have done for him, why do that?

Kawa did, what Kawa does. When they want someone out or not in, they start to play a shadow game. They did it with Pourcel because RV didn't want him as a teammate. Saying this outloud wouldn't been that bad, because everyone would've understood it (no competition from inside the team please). But instead they created a narrative that is sung by their content creator friends and is still harming the Frenchman till this day. Now the same with the Spaniard! Yes I use the word content creator because Pulp ain't news media and there aren't 5 critical journalists in the two big paddocks.
