I hope he kills it as well, another guy fighting at the front is ALWAYS a good thing. I personally don't see myself ever being a fan though after his nonsense this past summer.
Bike issues, team issues, whatever....as a professional athlete you just can't act like that and expect sympathy.

Is it a good time to drag out the videos from ONE year ago where he was slagging off the Austrian bikes and calling the Kawi the best thing since sliced bread?
"First time I started the bike and clicked 1st gear, I already could feel just that response that I love from the KTM"....You can't make this shit up Folks. 🤣. In 2025 you can now tell the performance of the entire motorcycle's capabilities just by shifting into 1st gear. What a time to be alive.
I do think his words are eerily similar but I also think he's had to have learned enough in that time to where we can actually take him at his word now.
I love it, its not another vlog from a rider, it has really good production and a variety of content, I hope we can get more of this next year

I don’t think it’s going to matter until he starts practicing like he races. He admits he doesn’t practice at full pace, maybe that works at Europe’s beat up sand tracks but with the grooming and prep we have here it’s won’t equate imo.
Man, he really throws Monster Energy and Kawasaki under the bus in that video. Not that there is any love lost from either side.

One things for sure is he didn’t play his role at kawy the best. But he is also a very talented guy on a dirt bike. If he goes out there, puts in the work, doesn’t stir the pot… I think he may start winning back fans. I think he handled things horrible but hope he turns it around and fights for podiums outdoors. Don’t think it’s impossible. Time will tell.

The way he conducted himself as a Kawi rider, and now putting out this (dare I say smug) self promotion video...sigh....the kid's got skills but he's made it easy to root against him. I mean even if he kills it on the KTM, he'll always be a whiny little quitter to me.
Watch Chase crush it on the Kawi and him still struggle 😂

Everyone goes through hardship and falters. To hold someone’s character to a set point in their life is lazy thinking. Not directed at you really as this seems to be a common theme these days. We judge others to standard we don’t even keep ourselves to.
I wish him well. Hope this move brings some peace to him ‘cause no doubt this season must have been tough for him to go through.
I disagree with your assessment here. If I knew someone who hired a contractor, paid them a ton of money to perform a job and they decided they didn’t want to complete the job they were paid them to do, I would have a poor opinion of the contractor. Jorge=Terry Varner.

I can agree that it’s a bad look but only when it becomes patterned behaviour. Agree fully that sucking it up and completing a contract is better form but it’s also good form to forgive missteps and allow youngsters to grow.
Varner is seemingly a complete scum bag, can’t draw that parallel myself.

I get the hate for George but we should give jorge another chance. Let bygones be bygones. Yeah him not trying to qualify was a real BS move but if he can add to the racing upfront it would be a good thing for the fans and the sport in general. I think the switch to KTM will be a positive one. Lets just hope he makes it out of SX In one piece..lol

yeah but your contractor said he needs a hammer for the job and you gave him a screwdriver 😂
But his contractor tried the screwdriver before signing the contract and then put out a video saying how much better it was than the hammer 😂
