Play MX legends in first person.

You’ll find your Experience is better

Amazes me that several years into this game’s life cycle and people still haven’t figured that out. As soon as someone puts even 2 hours into first person and their opinion changes completely.

Do you guys play MX Bikes or MXSim in 3rd person too?

Unfortunately I havnt yet. I’m PS5 but one of them people who take on too many hobbies at once. So in saying that, I’m halfway through building a PC and plan to have it ready for MTG and Iracing.

But as for now, 1st person on MX legends is scratching my itch. People say it’s slower, but I’ve managed to hit number 1 on the global records for certain SX tracks and I only play first person. I like the sim feel and helps me be a little more creative with lines haha

It looks like it was originally slated to drop this month, but got pushed out to the beginning of 26'. If that's what it takes to deliver a finished game. then I will be patient. I've got BF6 to keep me busy until then, lol.

I’d guess fall of 2026 if we’re lucky, maybe a public beta version before that but it looks like there’s  a lot of hurdles they want to cross before it can be a “finished” product.

Yeah I've been jaded by videogame release timelines for years now, I've learned to treat things pretty much like they don't exist until a month out or so, sometimes not even until its actually out. I'm sure it'll be good when they finally get there.

If they stay on Schedule, a few months more. We'll be into SX season so everyone will be Rev'ng to go.

I have no problems with them taking their time to put out the best game they possibly can. My worry comes if it continues to get pushed back more than a couple times.

I'm really looking forward to this game, but I will say the last gameplay clip they put out did not impress me all that much. I know it's still early and they have a ways to go, but it definitely was not what I was expecting.

You wanna pray like heck that game play changes.....unfortunately I don't think it will....it appears the energy is going towards the landscape as opposed to what we all want-the rider to be fluid.

I will say it til I'm blue in the face-there is NO game that has captured the physics of the rider, the sound of the bikes 2 stroke and four and the movement of the bike-like MX unleashed.

However the heck they did that-for the love of god can someone PLEASEEEEEE input those characteristics into a modern game.

Seperate the movement of the bike and the rider.

They’ve said multiple times that bike and rider will be separate. Just like most modern game titles. I suspect it will be like mxbikes.

Motocross the Game has announced a strategic partnership with Yamaha that brings an extensive line-up of Yamaha machines to the upcoming hyper-realistic motocross title. The game will feature a complete range of models that reflect the breadth of Yamaha’s real-world offerings, from youth bikes to full-size motocross and off-road machines.

Leading the charge are the YZ models, including the YZ250F and YZ450F. The addition of the legendary YZ125 and YZ250, confirms the presence of both two-stroke and four-stroke categories in the game.

The partnership goes even further by planning to introduce youth models such as the YZ85 and YZ65, adding a unique layer of authenticity rarely seen in motocross games. Motocross the Game has also confirmed that off-road machines including the WR250F and WR450F and the popular TT-R50 and TT-R110 are scheduled to join the line-up as the project grows.

The MTG team shared the following statement regarding the collaboration with Yamaha:

“Our community demands the highest level of realism and that requires a full line-up of machines. Two-strokes, four-strokes, mini-bikes, everything that defines real motocross must be represented. We are committed to capturing every detail for our players. Motocross the Game is built for fans of the sport. Our goal is to deliver the true motocross experience every time players pick up the controller. We promised that MTG would be the game racers have dreamed about and this partnership is a major step toward fulfilling that promise.”

The Yamaha DLC Pack will be available at launch, offering exclusive access to Yamaha bikes inside Motocross The Game. Players can add the game to their Steam wish list now at:

This screenshot is so cool to me. I assume it's a 3D scan, but if this is real terrain in the game and the deformation.. wow, incredible.

I can't wait for this game!

Wonder if you have to unlock every bolt and component on the Triumph like it’s a bike launch.

That’s a 3D scan, I don’t think they have real erode/track deformation yet.

The realistic enviroments and crazy detailed bikes are cool but you dont really notice that much when actually playing the game, hopefully they just nail the physics and the rest is a bonus.

We got snowed in last weekend and I played a few of the supercross games and still think 3 is the best one.

Same but glad I didn’t now. I don’t have a working computer.

It is a little suspect they have perfectly 3D scanned pebbles before physics. Looks great so far, though!

Hi probability this will be the only reason i buy a PS5. Looks / sounds good so far, i expect there will be more developments with the terrain deformation.

I know it’s a work in progress but I keep waiting for some sort of positive update to the physics so the bike is more nimble. Looks like he’s trying to turn a boat in the corners! Grinning

Appreciate the gameplay though, we’ll just have to trust the process.

Hopefully they can work that out but I have to say its really refreshing to see them not hitting a jump at mach 2, floating in the air for 1000 yards, and landing on a berm and railing a corner. I've seen enough of that garbage for a lifetime.

I think MTG will land between the “sim” style games like MX Sim/Bikes and the super arcade games like Reflex. There’s nothing wrong with that, it will certainly appeal to the masses. I’ll more than likely stick with MX Bikes.

the stock tracks that come with Sim are awful and basic. The track in the video above is meh. It will be what the community can create with highly technical sx tracks, ruts in corners, etc that might truly set the game apart.

I’m super hopeful for this game. I’m pretty sure the aim is cold hard sim — physics kinks aside, I’m looking forward to an ultra realistic style game.

Mx bikes feels like the closest thing to real life, especially if you play it that way instead of trying to go Mach 10.

What I really hope for is true ruts. If there’s anyway they can figure out how to get terrain to fold over on itself then this game will be #1 for life (for me)

That gameplay sure looks like a carbon copy of MXbikes.
