surprisingly good looking bike
Surprisingly it doesn't look like it's the CFMoto version of the Freeride (unlike Husqvarna Pioneer)...
Have they figured out the whole US ban thing?
That is for connected data share apps. They could release this without an app and be fine to my understanding.

What expo / trade show/ event is this
EICMA
Wp suspension and 450 power. Thats all the info i could find.
Just to clarify; you are aware that KTM and Husqvarna are the same company right?
Yeah, they're part of Pierer Mobility, just like CFMoto
Doesn’t seem that surprising considering KTM/Husky/GasGas are designed in the same place whereas CF Moto is its own company with a completely different design team. I was just confused by your comparison between the brands. They obviously share some components (in this case I’d imagine the battery etc. are the same) but CF has always maintained its own “look” so to speak.
That's interesting because it means that CFmoto electric prototype is a different bike, more 450-like than trail bike (and not just removing the lights from KTM Freeride).
It could be a way for PMG to probe the market for a high power electric MXer without commiting their top brand KTM (also likely cheaper).
The SXS's they just announced were designed and all the R&D or most of it was done in the US. I'm not sure how much is built here. But they could possible get around some stuff by building them in the US. Wasn't somebody saying that it was not going to apply to off road or smaller sized motorcycles. Yes 450 size is big for off road, but its a smaller displacent when you consider the 1000 and 1100's.
I found this info on Electric Cyclerider .com
Key Specs for the CF-X Electric Motocross Concept
Weight: 125 kg (approx. 276 lbs)
Seat Height: 960 mm
Suspension: 310 mm adjustable WP suspension
Battery & Drive System: 3-1 400V drive system
Cooling: Rear-mounted liquid-cooled radiator for efficient airflow and system optimization
Ride Modes: Three customizable modes tailored for varied off-road conditions
Electronics: Advanced monitoring and personalization features for performance tracking
“CFMOTO raised eyebrows with the introduction of the CF-X electric motocross concept while making a nod to the outstanding design and innovation philosophy conveyed by the ZEEHO brand. The CF-X has been created around the principals of enjoyable, competitive but also safe offroading: ‘experience more together’. The strength of the project filters through the benefits of zero emissions and the performance advantages of instant torque and acceleration and an immediate adrenaline hit. The CF-X can conjure the output of a 450cc ICE equivalent through the motor that also forms part of the handling package. Fabrication of the CF-X ‘ideal’ led to priorities of a high strength but ultra-light frame with a low center of gravity and acute centralization for prime agility. 310mm adjustable WP Suspension will take care of bumps and jumps and the ergonomics is orientated towards competition and limit-pushing from a 960mm seat height. Quality and precision as well as fine engineering is felt through every gram of the 125kg weight and the sturdiness of the high-end race-ready components. Advanced electronics for monitoring, personalization of three riding models and maintenance of the 3-1 400V drive system, propelling the rider to 50kmph in rapid time is also a highlight.
A liquid-cooled radiator mounted to the rear of the layout guarantees flow and optimization. Importantly, the CF-X styling shines a light on CFMOTO’s booming racing pedigree. The work is another excellent expression by the design department, forcing dynamism and efficiency to the forefront of any rider.”
The colors don't look very moto but that 3/4 front view is just sick looking.
As a business standpoint this may be the way Chinese bikes gain a foothold here (depending on tariffs obvy) and gain ground on Japanese and Austrian bikes. If that bike performs as good as it looks I would consider buying if I was saving 25% or so off the current crop.
276 pounds...dang

Their newer performance SXS's are close to that kind of pricing VS the competition. They have a Turbo charged sport SXS that has an MSRP of $19,999.99 and a similar Polaris or Canam would be $24-28K .
CF moto tends to have one model that has a bunch of included stuff that You have to add on or get one of the more expensive versions form Polaris or Canam to get a similar spec.
And Canam and Polaris have multiple trim levels for each model. the base Pro XP RZR is $23K but the new CFmoto is much better specked in a lot of ways than that base model. When I first heard about CF Moto years ago, that was one of the things they pointed out. That they came in cheaper than the competition's base model , for their loaded version.
I'm not sure how that may work with an electric MX bike. But I would for sure expect them to pack some extra value into the bike and still come in under the price of any similar bikes out there. I would love to see a quick change battery and it come with 2 batteries . It is so cool to see these bikes starting to show up. I wonder if CF Moto will try and race the electric class in MXGP?
Eicma show also had sweet looking full size electric MX bikes from Hero, Nicot and Kove.
The number of smaller Surron type bikes was countless. China everywhere, bikes and components at every quality level. Like it or not, the world is changing. Fast.

anybody any news about the CFMoto by any chance?
CF moto has electric 50 and 100 equivalents coming down the pipe.
Makita powered communist chinesium... got it !! 🤣
That CFX needs to get different colors. The bike gets lost in the colors they chose.
EXACTY, THATS HEA VY ASF.
(Sure there are some) I can’t imagine why someone would want a full-size, heavy e-bike that is as expensive as an ice bike.
I personally want an e-bike that is light, flickable, powerful and fun. Like a Surron Light Bee, Talaria Sting, or E-Ride Pro. These are simple, easy, cheap(ish) and light. I prefer sub-150lbs. I can’t imagine why you’d want one heavier and (sometimes) more than double the price?
You forgot to underline those all caps. That way you could really yell it OUT 😎
I'd be happy with one in the 200ish pound range. Four strokes came on the scene with a big weight penalty, and it just kept getting worse with electric start, efi, the full size ebikes...
Yet they all look better than what your techno feudalist corporate oligarchy produces...
