That styling so much better than the Kove 250.
The Beta, Sherco dealer up north of town, Houston area sells Kayo. I think the big KTM, Kawasaki dealer down the Gulf freeway from me sells them too. I’ve never seen one at the track. In fact I’ve never seen any of the Chinese knockoffs at the track.
Interesting pipe on that Beta 2T.
Looks pretty quality.. it even has a radiator catch can it looks like lol.
Impressive.

I didn’t see the catch can, had to go back and look. I figured KYB knock off, website said KYB
KTM copy. Sometimes I think the Chinese are incapable of creating their own designs.
I remember the same thing being said about the Japanese back in the mid 70’s, soooo…. I guess we’ll see how it shakes out
what if the Chinese make these things wicked durable.. and moto becomes affordable again
What's the price?
Nothing better than communist chinesium!!
The red anodized stuff will turn pink in a year, otherwise that’s a good looking bike. How it runs, handles and holds up is the real question..
Adjusted for inflation it's the same cost to buy a bike now, and they last way longer. Rose colored glasses are strong in this sport. It's all the unnecessary extras that are making it unaffordable.
Is it really a question?
The real question is, a week from now when it blows up, are parts available?
So it looks like a knock off of the kove with different plastic.
6 grand from the Kayo USA website.
I bet we see a bunch of these better but not great Chi Comm bikes in the near future. As much as I hate to say it, they will be good as soon as the Chinese want them to be good. Will cost more too.
"FCR Style carb"........Im sure thatll be fun
I don’t want to worry about the engine seizing on every face of every jump. I’m good to spend the extra couple grand for piece of mind.
Are the Chinese missing the mark by copying 4 strokes? Would they be better served to focus on lower cost and simplicity of 2 strokes? Imagine if they were to build quality 2 strokes and have full lines of parts available at a lower cost. I feel like they'd grab a big portion of the market.
Pit Row
They make plenty of them look up GPX.
I bet for about 4500 that same red Kayo bike can be bought in 2 stroke, 6 speed. I'd spend my 4500 on a used YZ250 and give some fun.
For anyone who doesn’t have Fbook…
That’s a re-skin of a bike they’ve made for a while and normally sell as an off-road-enduro model.
One version with injection sells for $4,9999 (No KYB. It’s built w/Fast Ace suspension components)
If the bike shown was decent and sold for $4,999? That might make sense.
For some of us, we have our own reasons for not wanting to buy Chinese brands. And that’s fine. And, as others have said, this reminds a lot of us of what was once said about Japanese products.
Recap: if a good bike with KYB suspension and some other solid brands incorporated into its build was available for several thousand dollars less than the popular known brands? Then we might be getting somewhere.
I think they know they arent coming to market on knockoff suspension. They can copy the engine but the suspension has to be brand name.
My thoughts exactly. It's not like a street bike engine seizing while you're cruising around and can just pull over. A serious mechanical failure on a dirt bike can carry with it a significant risk of injury. Until there's some reliability data on these machines I'd stay away if you value....uh, living.
Recent dyno tests showed the Kove to be down 6.5.h.p. to the Ducati.
Post a reply to: Doubt I’d buy one, but sharp looking…….Kayo K6R (red)
