Hopefully RC and Difflock are back in the booth for another season of dogshit commentary.

Its gone past the point of bad and now I just find it stupidly funny. One minute I want to blow my brains out, next minute I cant stop laughing at whatever ridiculous shit spews out of Ricky's mouth.

Unsure if its comedy gold or just running this sport into the ground.

RC with his 5-10 go to sayings on repeat, Wil with 10 minute monologues full of gibberish about when she talked to their team, and Diffey yelling the “cowboy” or “dangerboy” because he doesn’t know that’s not their real names. Pure television perfection on Saturday nights in 26 🙌🏻

I'd also like to add an appreciation of Ricky's godlike talent of being able to predict what he thinks will happen next, then the complete opposite happens. 

I've never seen anything like it, it happens so often you'd think he'd manage to fluke a correct one. But it never happens.

'Tomac is letting Jett pass so he can check out his lines'. Half a lap later Jett has put 5 seconds on him.

As much as I like bagging out RC's commentary i think he does a really good job in his podcast and speaks really well. Sits on the fence a bit but he probably has to for his job. Just when he hops in the booth he gets too excited or something and his brain cant keep up with his mouth.

I hope the broadcast team is exactly the same next year I like RC, Diffey, Will and the guest commentators they get. Added bonus knowing existing broadcast team pisses off 90% of the whinging fans is icing on the cake 😎

Leigh Diffey is so bad.

Just wish while out chopping wood RC would reflect and come to the conclusion, even with unlimited perpetuation, he’s not that good at commentary and hand up those boots

Imagine a world,  where RC pics up on pointers from Leigh Diffey, and it is now officially called YAM ER HAW and HON DUR.  

RC has to go... he's been doing it for many years now and has shown no sign of improvement on the broadcast. He is bad at this job. I can't believe they keep putting him in the booth. 

It's very weird that NBC is supposedly putting in all this money into the sport and they keep a very bad analyst and a very bad producer to showcase their investment. 

Please be RC and Diff so these amazing threads keep coming.

I'm used to just turning the sound off while watching SX... and starting an hr and a half late to ff through all the commercials.... wow... the absolute chit-show we get now days.... just show how little the billionaires that run this chit-show care about the actual paying consumer..... 

Yeah, I think if I was given the option to get rid of Leigh or get rid of RC, but could only choose one; I think I'd pick to get rid of Leigh.  He doesn't even really seem like a fan of the sport.  A lot of people complained about Ralph, but he seemed to enjoy the sport.  Weege obviously loves the sport.  But it's just a paycheck for Leigh.

Jo "Shimoder" and "Hunta" Lawrence

Supposedly one of the reasons FOX gave Tom Brady so much money, despite zero experience as a commentator, is his value as a "celebrity" at advertiser events.  

I assume that the same holds true for NBC and Carmichael?  Maybe NBC feels that keeping him around can help shmooze potential advertisers into paying to be on SX broadcasts?

Brady is at least decent as an analyst.  

Tom Brady has value as a celebrity or advertiser to the general public. 
Carmichael does not. He was the champ of a niche sport almost 20 years ago. He's the GOAT but I doubt anyone is watching NBC because they want to hear/see him.

He's only relevant to core fans and those core fans, as well as casual viewers, think he's very bad on the broadcast. I don't see a reason to keep him on from a marketing/fan perspective...

 

Likewise, nobody is deciding to watch Cowboys-Broncos this week because Brady is the analyst.

Must be something wrong with me, I'm just thankful the events are broadcast.

They have contracts to fulfill; it'll be the same team for another year or so.
